Fingers clicked out a short message, just begging almost far too subtly for the other to come home again soon.
"How's the tour?" It was light, half playful, and very much interested in the answer.
"Fine, but I miss you." The message was short and loving, making Bonnibel smile from the comfy office chair that she was sitting in and that they usually shared between the two of them.
"I miss you too." She gently typed onto the keyboard already eager to receive another message before she even sent hers.
"You should come along on our next tour." Marceline suggested much to Bonnibel's albeit nervous delight.
"I'll have to make sure that I'm not too busy over here then, but I'd love to if I can get away." Bonnie smiled.
"Freeing up your schedule is a lot of hard work." Bonnibel could nearly hear the grumble in the words that her wife had just sent to her.
"I know." Bonnie sighed though she couldn't resist smiling still at the joy of just writing to her wife of three years.
"Of course you know, it's your schedule." Bonnie could just see Marceline rolling her eyes at her.
"When's your next concert?" Bonnie fretted that she was keeping her wife from practicing or performing by sending her E-mails right now.
"Tomorrow night at nine. Don't worry, I'd rather talk to you right now than practice." Bonnie wondered what Marceline was doing right now other than sending her messages.
"Are you sure? I want your concerts to go well." Bonnie still worried as she nervously bit her lip.
"They will. I've written every song that we sing, I'm not going to just forget the words like that." Marceline had to be rolling her eyes again.
"Alright, come home as soon as you can though and stay safe." Bonnibel smiled though she, herself, still had plenty of work to do despite the break she was taking to talk to her wife.
"I will. Am I holding you up?" Marceline asked her through E-mail.
"Not really, no. I have time to finish up later while you practice. Have fun and stay out of trouble." Bonnibel typed in response.
"Alright, I will. Don't forget to eat while you experiment; I know how that is." Marceline's eyes had to be twinkling in humor and goodnaturedness.
"I'll make sure to eat. 'Bye, I love you." Bonnie smiled as she finished up her message, savoring the "I love you too" that Marceline sent that went without any goodbye attached with it.
She knew that Marceline would continue to work hard over there until she could come home and then they'd spend every second that they possibly could together to make up for the distance between them that would have passed by then.
Bonnie smiled as she closed her laptop and stood up to busy herself with her work and then grab a quick bite to eat before she headed to bed.
