It was supposed to be a friendly dinner; a time to catch up with everyone and relax but Midoriya Izuku had to ruin it. Honesty, nobody was surprised.
"What the hell is this shit?" Bakugo mumbled as an inebriated Midoriya clung to his arm as their fellow classmates stared at them.
"To-," Midoriya giggled, "Todoroki!"
Silence overtook them as the blonde could feel his blood boil. He looked up to glare at the rest of them as some of them were beginning to laugh. As they looked away, Bakugo caught the eye of the half bastard who had the gall to blush. Todoroki, who was sitting on the other side of the smaller man, looked away from the angry man-child and down to the innocent drunk clinging to someone else's arm.
"Uh, Midoriya, I'm over here."
Midoriya, to his credit, gasped and begin to let go of Bakugo.
He was not having it.
"It's fine, Deku, you can hold on to me." He gritted out at his childhood friend.
"I don't want to, Kacchan!"
"Ah?!"
"No!" Midoriya flung himself to his right where he had heard Todoroki's voice come from and wrapped his arms around the man's waist seeing as that was the first thing he felt. His face was buried into Todoroki's abdomen. He hummed as he felt his friend's hand come down to rub at his head.
Now, some could say that Bakugo Katsuki was a rational man to very little, and they were right. But nothing made him more irrational than seeing the bane of his existence cling to others as if they had had the misfortune to grow up with him.
If anything, people who didn't suffer through this guy's carelessness didn't have the right to have them act so affectionate with them.
"Deku!" Bakugo took a hold of the other's shirt and gave it a tug. "Leave that half bastard alone!"
"No, kacchan! He's comfy! And he's nice! And..and he loves me," Midoriya sniffles, "unlike you kacchan, so leave me alone!" He huffs and tightens his hold.
At this point, everyone has stopped laughing and are looking at the two childhood friends with pity. Even as adults they can't get their feelings across to each other. Poor Todoroki was pulled into the middle of things, as usual.
To be fair, Todoroki never really minded when Midoriya clung to him. Especially now that Bakugo had stopped trying to kill him as if he had forced the smaller man to cling to him. He couldn't help but roll his eyes whenever the blonde would glare at him though. So he did what he liked to do, he made things worse for the two.
"Midoriya," he starts as he pulls at the green-haired man's arms and leads him to sit down in his lap, "why don't you get comfortable?"
"Stop it!" Bakugo stared into his childhood friend's eyes as the boy sat with his back to Todoroki's chest. He was not happy and the other boy was finally starting to see that.
"Kacchan?"
"You're always acting like I don't give a shit about you, and that just makes you look more stupid! I don't love you? I don't care about you? Then what about you?! If you loved me you wouldn't be clinging to this bastard!"
"But you," Midoriya frowns and gives one look to Todoroki before leaving his lap to sit in Bakugo's lap, "you're the one that's always complaining that I'm too clingy."
With a huff, Bakugo wraps an arm around the other's chest and tells him to shut up while he brings his beer up to his lips to keep drinking as if nothing had happened.
A collective sigh was heard throughout the house.
AN: I HAVE NOT WRITTEN IN FOREVER SO I LOST ALL THE GREAT WRITING SKILLS I WAS GAINING LIKE WHAT, 3 YEARS AGO?
Has not been proofread.
Anyway, I'm basically gotten back into anime this year, and I am in love with Boku No Hero Academia. This is kind of a shitpost and kind of vague on the relationship because this isn't quality. Don't take it as my best writing because it is not!
Nevertheless, thanks for reading
