disclaimer: I don't own Nabi the Prototype. The series and characters belong to Kim Yeon Joo. Such a beautiful story.
characters: Ryu Sang. Myo Un.
Warning: Possible spoilers.
Take place in: Vol 16, sort of.
Ryu Sang thinks of a girl who lives outside his memories in this lifetime.
(in different lifetime, she exists, and it hurts.
"Who's Myo Un?" In this lifetime, he's asked.
"She's very dear to you." So Ryu says, in a world without Myo Un.)
Her name is Myo Un, clouds in the sky, always changing, never looking the same. Ryu Sang often watches clouds and wonders why he thinks of her, he cannot remember ever meeting her in this world (perhaps she's from the House of Lotus, too, and somehow that leaves a bad taste in his mouth.) She appears in his thoughts, in the mist of foggy memories that aren't quite memories, looking a like porcelain doll with pale skin, round eyes and pink lips and dark hair like night skies, and Ryu Sang can read too much from her eyes (memories, fire, pain, snow, blood.).
Everything about her is beautiful, her face, her hair, her eyes, her lips, her fingers, her will, her smile.
He remembers never touching her if he can avoid it, he remembers glancing at her when she doesn't look, he remembers not letting anyone hurt her, he remembers dark eyes following him into his dream.
It's the way it's supposed to be, he's gotten himself into this self-destructive mess and it's his responsiblity. Ryu Sang thinks as he recalling the memories that aren't his.
In this world, Ryu Sang thinks of Myo Un, whose name he knows but has never met.
(because Myo Un will always search for Ryu Sang, no matter where he is, no matter how far away they are, no matter which world he lives.)
notes: Because I can.
