Forbidden Love
A/N: Just a short one-shot that came to me. It can be whatever parring you want it to be.
Disclaimer: I don't own Spongebob Squarepants.
Forbidden love can be tough. It was in Romeo and Juliet. It had been in tons of story. And it's in my life. I never thought I was going to have Forbidden love. Love that I knew I couldn't have.
For generations, my ancestors hated her ancestors. We were against each other, hating the things the other did. One fished, while the other defended their kind. One lived in the ocean, while the other lived on land. While I was weak, she was one of the toughest people I knew. Maybe living on land did that to her. We had so many differences, that you would never know that we were attracted to each other. But we were. And that's what makes this so hard for us.
We went out in secret, holding each other when our family argued. We were so in love, yet we were petrified. If our families ever knew about us...When I looked at her eyes, they held so much joy, yet so much sorrow. If we could only be together...I still can't believe why our generations couldn't make peace with each other. If they ever did, we would be so happy...
I walked over to her house secretly after telling everyone I was going to the store. After putting my helmet on, I walked into the treedome, where I found her sitting on the bench outside. I saw that she was eating some nuts, which told me she was worried. She always ate when she was worrying. As I walked over, I saw her eyed were red and puffy from crying. Something was wrong. She was a strong person, so this had to be hard news for her. I ran to her, worried. "What's wrong?" I asked her, hugging her. "I'm so worried about us being discovered." she said quietly, holding me tightly. "It's ok. I'm always going to be here with you. Always." I said truthfully. I loved her too much for that. I looked at her, and our lips touched softly against each other.
"I'll always be there."
"Always?"
"No. Always and forever."
She smiled, and our lips met again.
Forbidden love can be hard, but when you love someone as much as I do, it's always worth it.
