Sirius stopped outside the big doors of the hospital wing, taking a deep breath even after almost six years Sirius still wasn't used to it. To the fact that Remus visited the hospital wing once a month, to seeing the exhaustion and pain in his Remus' eyes. Truth to be told Sirius really hated it, he wished he could just go to class yet he never did. He was always the one to be there first and Remus' face always seemed to light up the moment he entered the hospital wig neither Remus or Sirius ever noticed that though. The only one who did was madam Pomfrey and she never said a word about it though she thought it was really sweet.

Sirius took one last deep breath before slipping inside, he was clutching a chocolate bar in his hand and just as usual Remus amber eyes lit up the moment he saw the other boy. Sirius smiled.

"Hey Rem" he said as he sat down on the edge of the hospital bed. Remus smiled back at him and when Sirius lifted his hand up showing the chocolate bar Remus' smile turned into a grin.

"Thank you!" Sirius had always wondered how a simple chocolate bar could make Remus so incredibly happy and excited. However Remus didn't actually open the chocolate instead he carefully placed it on the bedside table before turning his head back to his friend the grin never leaving his face. It was one of those rare smiles that always made Sirius smile too. They could spend hours like this, just smiling at each other or just looking. Another thing neither of them seemed to noticed, others did though like James, Lily or Alice who were all getting very annoyed by the fact. Sirius reached out suddenly realizing how close he and Remus were actually sitting, he ran his hand through Remus messy light brown locks and Remus leaned into the touch still not breaking eye contact and their smiles never faded from their faces. Sirius slowly moved his hand from Remus' hair down to his cheek where he slowly stroked a small white scar. He knew it was weird but Sirius remembered the day Remus got that particular scar, it was the first moon after he, James and Peter had figured out he was a werewolf even after that full moon Sirius had been the first one visiting Remus the next morning, he had not even bothered with breakfast that first time. Remus closed one eye as Sirius kept moving his fingers over the small scars on his face. Sirius started leaning in even closer and Remus found that he it didn't bother him at all that he was. Sirius rested his forehead against the smaller boy's and sighed. Remus moved his hand to Sirius wrist but he didn't pull Sirius hand away instead he closed both his eyes and they sat there in silence for a long while without moving, it was something Sirius only ever did with Remus, being still and quiet. Sirius moved his forehead away and before Remus had opened his eyes Sirius pressed a quick small kiss on the tip of his nose. Before Remus could say anything about it James threw open the doors of the hospital wing. He made his way over to his two friends. James wasn't surprised by how close they sat or how Sirius still had his hand on the others cheek, things like that were normal when it came to those two. James just really hoped they would realize they had feelings for each other really soon.
