A/N: I know this idea is a tad out of character for Morticia, but I couldn't shake the idea and it didn't seem to work quite as well with any other category I've been playing with. I needed a set of characters that found this especially taboo, and couldn't think of anybody who fit the bill better. I hope you enjoy it, try and picture it as more of a Carolyn Jones Morticia than a Angelica Huston Morticia.
There wasn't a large supply of things Morticia missed about her life before Gomez but she had to admit that, for all she liked living in the darkness, she missed the sunrise and sun set. She was never one to go outside and tan, nor did she enjoy bathing in the sun's painful rays. She preferred to do that in the moonlight where the beams were much more tolerable. But if she were to say that she never longed to see the sun sink below the horizon or wake in the morning she would be lying through her teeth. Her favorites were when the clouds covered the sky just after a thunderstorm, they would all be stained a deep purple surrounded in the west by a fierce orange that reminded her fondly of fire. The sight took her breath away every time. She was, after all, an artist; she admired beauty as much as the next painter. And even now, she would still sneak a peek at the sun rise, before her Gomez woke in the early hours of the morning. She would keep him up especially late on nights when a storm raged outside their window. She would go to bed sometimes around five thirty and not emerge from her slumber until noon, and Gomez would let her.
Watching the sun set was much more difficult, however, for she only seemed to find the time to sneak from Gomez long enough when her husband was away on a business trip or something of the sort. There were countless times when she had watched the moon rise and set with her husband, but she had never watched the sun. She had never asked him to either, for fear he would send her off to an asylum… not that that wouldn't be fun, but she would miss him and the children something terrible. And then, one night, after a particularly eventful and fun filled evening, after watching the moon rise and set, she turned to her husband.
"Gomez, watch the sun rise with me," she whispered seductively while nuzzling deeper into his warmth.
A/N: I know, it's really short. There will be more I promise, I just haven't had time to sit down and write it yet, so please be patient. I hope you found it enjoyable, until next time! Please review!
