Silence, a gentle breeze, the rustling of leaves and then silence once more. That is all that could be heard in Rezembool that night. In one of the older hotels, however, there was a difference. Two young men were asleep, one quiet and the other restless, his dreams haunting him yet again.
It was cold, windy and wet. The restless one was running through a cemetary, carrying a motionless figure. He appeared to be looking for something amongst the many old tombstones, but eventually found it. "You idiot, why the Hell did you go through with it, that was the last of our stash" he growled, digging into the dirt of a fresh grave with his hands. "Aha" he remarked, pulling up a small box from the earth. He opened it to find a small gem, the size and shape of a tear but the color of blood inside the case. He grasped the gem and moved to the motionless body, placed the gem upon its chest, clapped his hands together then placed them upon the body. Dark red sparks jumped across the body, originating from the young man's hands. The earth around him began moving, dust erupted from graves nearby, particulate from the tombstones gravitated towards the pair, all flowing towards the one lying down in that rainy graveyard. The body began to move, slowly at first, then with increased tempo, showing signs of life, or in this case returned life. "Hahah, it worked, you owe me you rat bastard. GAAAAH" blinding pain erupted from his left shoulder, he grasped at it with his right hand, only to feel nothing there, looking at it, he only saw the cape he always wore turning a muddy red, and wehn he looked at his hand, it was covered in blood. After this, everything turned to black.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH," he awoke, gasping and grasping his shoulder, feeling only the metal that replace that which was once there. "That memory again?" asked his friend, the idiot who was brought back. The restless one panted a few times before he responded "yeah, God I hate you Allister, I hate you so much." "Right back at ya Jase, right back at ya."
