After hearing something glass break, Sebastian Michaelis rushed into his master's study.

"My lord, is everything alri-" Sebastian stopped mid-sentence to stare at Ciel Phantomhive, who was sitting in his desk chair sideways with his feet resting on the papers that had collected on top of the desk.

"Oh, yeah, everything is just great. I'm great," Ciel replied a bit louder than he usually tends to speak. Sebastian noticed that a bottle had fallen next to the desk and broken. Clearly that was what he heard. He also noticed it was a rather empty bottle.

"My lord, what happened to the bottle?" He asked as he stooped to clean up the shards.

"Bumped it," was all CIel said.

"And what was in the bottle?"

"Uh, might've been scotch," Ciel replied almost inaudibly, though Sebastian heard.
"And you drank it all?" Sebastian had a look of great concern on his face.
"There was only a bit left, relax you wonderful and worrisome butler, you," Ciel murmured as he buried his face into the chair, "you worry too much about me even when you don't need to. It was just some breaking glass."

"Perhaps you had fallen," Sebastian said, placing the glass into a waste basket, "you could have injured yourself."

"It wouldn't have been life or contract threatening though," Ciel looked at Sebastian and pointed at his face, "look at me, I'm fine." Sebastian sighed and walked over to his master's chair.

"I think you should prepare for bed, my lord," Sebastian picked Ciel up out of his chair, who proceeded to throw his arms around the butler's neck and snuggle into his shoulder.

"Sebastian, I don't ever want you to leave me," Ciel whispered, sounding more like a broken child than he ever had.

"i never will, our contract binds us together," Sebastian replied softly, but he realized that the human he was carrying had fallen asleep in his arms.

"Good night, my lord," Sebastian said, laying his master into his bed and kissing him on the forehead.
