A/n: Hi! This is a play I wrote for English last year. Just imagine Artemis and Apollo as ten or so. Please review!
Night and Day
Artemis: So, Athena, tomorrow is both of our birthdays. We are twins.
Athena: Really Artemis? Happy Birthday!
Apollo: You are invited to our party tomorrow. It will be at 5:00.
Athena: Alright Apollo. I will come .

Next Scene
The next day, at 4:00
—
Artemis: The moon needs to be out at our party tomorrow. After all, I am the goddess of the moon.
Apollo: Well, I'm the god of the sun, and I say the sun needs to be out.
Artemis: I'm older!
Apollo: No you aren't!
Artemis: Yes I am.
Apollo: Okay, fine. But the sun needs to be out.
Artemis: Moon!
Apollo: Sun!
Narrator: Apollo and Artemis continued arguing until 5:00
Apollo: The guests are here, it's time to go!
Artemis: I don't have any shoes on though.
Apollo: They're here!
Artemis: Look! A deer!

Next Scene
5:00 ( Right after the last scene)
—
Athena: Happy birthday guys!
Apollo: Hi Athena!
Athena: Artemis, what did Apollo give you for your birthday?
Artemis: He is going to let me have the moon out for the whole day!
Apollo: No I'm not!
Artemis: Yes you are!
Athena: It is not wise to fight over such trivial matters.
Artemis and Apollo: They are not trivial matters!
(Artemis and Apollo stand back to back, arms crossed.)
(Selene enters)
Artemis: Who are you? You aren't invited!
Selene: I am Selene, the new goddess of the moon and sun as soon as I get rid of you.
Artemis and Apollo: What?
Athena: It is not wise to try to get rid of Artemis and Apollo. Artemis is the goddess of the hunt. It will not be easy to get rid of them.
Selene: Watch. Easy as pie.
(turning toward Artemis and Apollo)
Selene: The sun will be out for the whole day tomorrow!
Artemis: No it won't!
Apollo: Yes it will!
Artemis: No!
Apollo: Yes!
Athena: Don't let her use the divide and conquer method! She'll get rid of you!
Apollo: Athena, you are correct. Artemis, I will deal with you later.
Athena: Selene, look over there!
Selene: I don't see anything
(Artemis sneaks up behind Selene and handcuffs her)
Apollo: Easy as pie, right Selene?
Selene: Wait! I wasn't ready yet! Unhandcuff me at once! If you don't, I will, I will…...um
Artemis: You'll what?
Athena: Told you it wouldn't be easy. After all, I am the goddess of wisdom.
Apollo: Now we can open presents!
Artemis: Apollo, I'm sorry I argued with you.
Apollo; That's alright. Now, how about the sun is out during the day, and the moon is out during the night.
Artemis: Yes, and as it gets close to winter, the moon will be out longer, and when it gets closer to summer, the sun will be out longer.
Athena: Well, all's well that ends well, right Selene?
Narrator; And everyone lived happily ever after…... except Selene.
