"Gas mask?"

"Here." The smelly rubber device was pressed into Ulrich's outstretched hand. "Are you sure you should be doing this?"

"Someone has to do it Jeremie. No one else will, so it has to be me." Ulrich's face was impassive as he strapped the mask around his face, breathing through it carefully a few times to make sure the filter canisters were functioning properly. "Jeremie, if something were to happen… tell Yumi that I'm sorry I'll miss our date tonight." His voice sounded hollow through, thanks to the chambers it had to pass through.

"Of course I will. I'll make sure she knows that you wen't down with honor, the way any man of honor would." Jeremie's eyes were worried as he clasped his friend firmly in a brief hug. "God be with you my friend." He stepped back and watched as his dark haired friend turned and slowly walked away.

"Uh… guys? If you wanted me to pick up my dirty laundry you just had to say something." Odd commented as he walked through the door, rolling his eyes at the melodrama unfolding before him.

"We did try. We told you last month that you needed to do something about that mess and you never did!"

"So I've been busy." Odd shrugged and flopped down on his bed to watch his roommate with no little amusement. "Biohazard gear though? Seriously Ulrich, I though Cissy was the resident Drama Queen." He snorted and rolled over so that his head was hanging off the bed.

Ulrich didn't answer and instead began bagging the wrinkles, smelly mess that was once clothing. Without comment he turned and flung a book at the blonde on the bed, knocking his roomate onto the floor as Odd reached out instinctively to catch it.

"What was that for… Hey my missing volume of Bleach! I looked everywhere for this!" He hugged it close and peppered kisses along it's binding before making a face and pushing it away from his face. "Smells really bad though. You guys are right. Yuck!"

Ulrich and Jeremie said nothing, merely looked at each other and rolled their eyes as each went back to the matters at hand. Dorm inspection was that night and the room had to be spotless.
