Muggle and Muggleborns,

Are subjected to burning scorn.

Girls are considered to be lesser beings,

Nothing but a housewife devoted to child rearing.

Books are reserved for the unwanted,

Weakling are meant to be hunted.

Gryffindors are naught but fools without a sense of self preservation,

Magic is meant for families that have been blessed for many a generation.

Light battles against the Dark,

Those with muddied blood should fear the bearers of the Dark Mark.

I am born of a Muggle,

For that I will have to struggle.

I am a girl,

Born an outsider to this world.

I am a bookworm,

With hair fuller and curlier than a perm.

I am a brave Gryffindor,

With logic at my core.

I am aligned to the Light,

And I will not go down with out a fight.

I am Hermione Granger,

But to those who deign themselves my enemies,

I am known as Danger.
