This was supposed to be just a logging sample for a RP I applied for, but I liked the idea so much that I decided to make it a ficlet/oneshot. Thanks to Little Godess for encouraging me. :D Your encouragement was what made me finish it.
A/N.: This is just a drabble, a short and kind of pointless one. So, if you're going to flame, at least use some logic and reason to back it up. Criticism is appreciated, but nonsensical flames are not.
Victory
"Damn, it shouldn't have been like this…" Cursed the redhead, bending down on his right knee and clutching his bleeding arm. Much to his disdain, the 'idiot pup' - how Shinon used to call him - had been victorious. Again. Two times in a row. Ike had proven he was a worthy commander, despite what Shinon thought of him.
He sneered at the blue haired swordsman as a sign of refusal for the hand that was stretched out to him. He could sense "little Ike's" oozing feeling of pseudo-superiority. Ike had won this time, but Shinon would never let him win a third time in the same day. The young commander just stared as the belligerent sniper got up to his feet ungraciously and turned his back to him. With an almost inaudible growl that went by the lines of "Idiot whelp", Shinon strolled his way to the camp.
"Are you sure you don't want help?" asked a curious voice behind his back. Shinon slowly shook his head and kept walking down the snowy path.
"… I don't need help, nor pity, from idiotic pups." Was the crude reply.
"Alright. Be careful on your way back, will you?"
Shinon couldn't really make out whether Ike was trying to be sarcastic or whatnot. Without turning around to face the bluenette, he drawled back "… Riiight. Same to you. Your deceased daddy wouldn't be happy if you died randomly by a stray arrow now, would he?"
"I don't think he would. Neither would you, right?" With that, Ike walked off happily, leaving an angry and shocked Shinon behind.
He had won again.
