It's been two months since Holly has seen Michael. "Mom, how much longer?" Holly asked.

"Holly, he is coming to tonight. Be patient."

"That's what she—"

"What?" Mrs. Flax looked slightly confused. A few minutes of silence went by when finally Holly broke the silence.

She asked, "When should I tell Michael the big news."

"You haven't told him?" her mom replied.

"No. I just- I didn't want to tell him something this big over the phone. Especially when he is in a completely different part of the country."

"I would tell him as soon as he gets home or over breakfast, something like that. Also, I forgot to ask, how long have you known?"

"A week before I told you guys." Holly's father was sitting on the small couch and had a weird looked plastered on his face. "What dad?"

"I was just wondering what the big news is."

"I told you like a month ago. Do you not remember?" Mr. Flax shook his head. Holly took out a well preserved pictures from her wallet and lightly handed it to her father.

"No way Hol! Really?" Mr. Flax smiles from ear to ear.

"Yes dad, really."

"Albert it's late, let's stop pestering her and let her go to bed." Mrs. Flax stated. Holly knew every time her mother called her dad by his full name she meant business. "She has a doctors appointment at 10:00 tomorrow. We are both going. Okay?" Mr. Flax was surprised, he didn't know what was happenning.

Holly put her glass down and said goodnight to both her parents. "I don't want anyone to be stressed tomorrow. Okay? Tomorrow should be a fun day. So I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight."

Around an hour later Mrs. Flax got a text from Michael. "Al, Michael landed he got an Ub- Uber- what ever that is- and will be in here in five minutes."

Al looked perplexed. "Who?"

"Michael." Mrs. Flax's heart sank in her chest. "Michael, Holly's fiancé." She winced.

"Oh, him. I like him. Why hasn't he been here?"

"He went to a old coworkers wedding back in Scranton." The door bell rang.

"Ellie can you get that?" Using his squeaky voice. When ever he called Mrs. Flax to do something and used his squeaky voice he wanted it done.

"I'll get it." She opened the door.

"I thought I had the wrong house for a second." Michael laughed and gave a big hug to Mrs. Flax.

"Hello Michael. How was your trip?"

"It was so funkalicous brotha..." Silence.

"What?" Asked Mrs. Flax.

"Sorry it's a joke." The corner of his mouth peaked up with a smile. "Hi there Mr. Flax. Do you remember me?"

It took a few seconds but Mr. Flax replied, "Of course I do Michael! You're my favorite son-in-law."

"Future. We only have one month until we are finally married. I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with my soup snake."

"Excuse me!" Butted in Mrs. Flax.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it badly. It's a joke. It goes back a while." Mr. and Mrs. Flax were waiting for the story. "Oh you want to know. Okay, well, it was about a year after Holly had transferred to Nashua and I was still in love with her. I was actually so in love, when I went down to Nashua to present something. I snuck to her desk and cut her sweater sleeve off and downloaded a letter from her computer." They both looked horrified. "I didn't read it though. Anyway, I was all prepared to confess my love to Holly at the annual company picnic at the right time. I multiple opportunities but I didn't say anything. She was happy with AJ from Nashua and I realized I just want her to be happy." They all softly smiled. "In my speech I wrote that we were soup snakes. But then I changed it to soul mates. It sounded better."

After that Michael carried his luggage upstairs. He opened the door to the bedroom quietly and got his pajamas on. After that he stared at Holly, she was sound asleep. She looked like a baby, soft and sweet. But Michael broke his stare and jumped on the bed like an ape.

"GOD ALMIGHTY WHAT IS HAPPENING!" Holly yelled.

In Michaels Yoda voice he said, "Back from Scranton I am."

"Michael you're back!" Holly leaped onto Michael and squeezed him so hard his eyes almost popped out of his head. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too!" Michael stared into her sparking eyes. He quickly grabbed her. By the waist and kissed her passionately. If they didn't need oxygen to survive they would've stayed like that forever. After awhile Holly yawned right in front of Michael. To him it smelt like strawberry chapstick.

They both agreed to go to bed. Holly knew Michael was asleep because he snores like a champ. She couldn't fall asleep because her mind was too cluttered. Actually it wasn't cluttered at all, there was only one thing on her mind. The appointment.
