The Rose Garden
There was so much beauty to a rose. An elegance that could entrance even the foulest of company. Regina often sat in her garden surrounded by countless beauties. Though none matched the delicateness of her. One who was so similar to the flowers that surrounded her.
Yet she herself did not know it.
Regina was merely a girl when she would run here and hide from her misery.
She still did. Even though the times of being a girl had long since past, she came here.
Her hand reached out. She gently brushed her fingers against the hand of another.
A woman she loved dearly. Emma Swan. A woman that was rash and foolhardy…yet one that so badly wished to be the prince. The one that saved all. The one that broke past the lines and saw her for what she was.
Someone desperate to be saved. Someone that had to learn love…to fully come into bloom.
And in doing so…to truly realise the beauty that hid within.
