Sip.
It was his third drink and the guy in front of him only looked like he was going to get chewed out if he made a wrong move. Kyou thought his body language proved right. He was going to tear someone's head off if the guy in front of him gave him any funny moves.
"So, how old are you again?" Kyou wondered at the man in front of him.
"T-Twenty," the man stuttered. Kyou nodded, it was about the perfect age. But then again, there was always something up Shigure's sleeves. He really didn't need a blind date and the man in front of him proved his point.
"Oh, and your job?"
"I'm working at my parent's ramen shop," the man replied, his head never lifting from his gaze at his lap.
"Hmm . . . What did you say your name was again?" Kyou wondered.
"Marcus."
"Marcus . . ." Kyou smiled. He didn't like the man already.
"Oi. . . Look at these two pansies. Are they going on a date? That's gross!" a passerby commented. Kyou glared at the man with the pineapple head. The man gaffawed. Marcus just sat there hoping the ground would swallow him up. Kyou stood up, his hands itching to lay a punch but instead reached over to grab a steaming cup of fresh coffee and splashed the man in the chest.
The man howled like he was about to die. But then again, he probably might. Kyou turned over to the gaping lady,
"Sorry about your coffee, I had to throw it at someone. Come on, Haru. Let's go. I don't want to hang around with these bunch of losers. When I get my hands on Shigure, he'll have something else stuff up his arse."
The cow placed down his newspaper cover and got out from a booth not far from where Kyou and his date was.
"Okay, Kyou. But I think it's best to tell the family of our relationship. That way Shigure won't sign you up for another blind date," Haru commented. Kyou sneered,
"And let Akito beat the hell out of me? No freakin' way."
"I'll protect you, Kyou," the cow slung an arm around the orange haired teen as they headed out of the café. Kyou just scoffed at the cow,
"Over my dead body."
