"Russia, did you see the pictures?!" America yelled as he burst into the conference room. His hair was messy, and it looked like he had dressed in a hurry. He wore a huge grin on his face.
"No, but I assume you have them?" Russia replied eagerly.
"Course I do, dude!" America said, pulling out his phone. He ran over the Russia, and pulled something up on his phone.
"Pictures?" England asked with a frown. "What pictures?"
Ignoring his question, the two nations stared excitedly at the phone.
"It is very pretty, da?" Russia said. "I hear it is almost as large as me."
"Actually, I was told it was bigger than they thought!" America said eagerly.
"Honhonhon!" France laughed. "It seems America and Russia share a common interest we may not know about."
"Shut it, you perverted frog!" England snapped.
"Why does this part look like a heart?" Russia asked America.
"I don't know, but it's kind of cute." America said with a shrug.
"AMERICA, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Germany shouted, making America and Russia jump. "Oh, I can show you if you want." America said flashing his usual Hollywood grin at them.
"Is it pasta?" Italy asked happily.
"Better!" America said, as he started to pull up the projector in the room.
"Nothing is better than pasta, bastardo!" Romano shouted angrily.
"Here we go!" America said enthusiastically, as he brought the picture up.
For a moment, no one said anything. On the screen was something that looked like a dirty snowball, with craters, and a white area that looked like a heart. No one other than America and Russia looked very impressed. "What the fuck is it and how is it better than pasta?" Romano asked in disgust.
"Dude, its Pluto!" America said with a frown.
"You're getting excited about a chunk of ice?" China asked with a confused expression.
"It is not just a chunk of ice, comrade." Russia said with an annoyed look. "It is one of the largest known objects in the Kuiper Belt."
"I got the pictures from my New Horizons space probe earlier this month." America said. "We are getting a lot of new information about Pluto and its moons."
"Well, that might be but this meeting is about the countries of earth, not Pluto." Germany said rubbing his forehead. "Sit down, we need to start the meeting."
The others agreed, and went back to their seats. America looked rather annoyed, but Russia just sighed.
"I don't think the others are nearly as interested in space as we are." Russia said with a shake of his head.
"Just wait till we colonize Mars." America said with a smirk.
