The gentle breeze coming in her window and caressing over her skin made her shiver. She opened her brown eyes and try to focus them in the dark surrounding her. She was tired and comfortably languid. The even colder, pale arms around her middle letting her memory kicked in.
"How long you been watching me sleep?" She said aware of his fingers blushing lightly over her navel, tracing an invisible pattern only he knew.
"Four hours Beautiful." He said kissing the shell of her ear and she turned over to meet his eyes. They were blue like a clear sky but she knew he was far from that innocent.
"I'm sorry I slept so long.." She said aware that she couldn't see him until tomorrow night. That's the downside to dating a vampire, there are no picnics in the sun.
"I've told you before my Tara, I'm perfectly fine just watching you. I love you no matter what you're doing."
She grinned pressing her body into his and earning a half moan, half grin from him.
"Still Franklin, I want to be conscious when I'm with you. I'll try to sleep more in the day I promise." She said running a hand down the steel, hard arm that was holding her.
"Ok my sweet. I've got two hours until the sun begins to rise. What shall we do until then?" He said leaning in to kiss the tip of her brown nose and making her giggle. He leaned further down tickling her sides making her squirm and beg him to let her go. They laughed together, Tara's head in the crook of his neck and shoulder.
"Can you just hold me Franklin? I love being held in your arms." She said closing her eyes and inhaling the scent of his clothes since vampires didn't have a scent of their own. He pulled her tight, kissing her waiting lips and bringing her as close as possible without hurting her.
"As you wish my Tara. All I want is for you to be pleased and to know how much I love you."
"I love you too Franklin." She whispered feeling the sleep reclaim her.
