There was once a boy with bright eyes (opposing to his dark obsidian eyes) who had everything. A loving family that almost all of the orphans sought for because they were perfect—an ideal family. Then it tumbled down. The once happy family was gone, gone… gone. His perfect (not so perfect after all) brother took them away from him—for eternity. Why? Why?! Why? He kept asking and asking, but it was too late.

Nothing will bring them back. No one will bring them back—to him. That is why he resorts to vengeance. He breathes to avenge his (once perfect) family—at least that's what he thinks his purpose is.

But he was wrong. Wrong enough for him to break down his walls for the golden effulgence (his closest friend), the cherry blossom petals (his most trusted friend), and a scarecrow (his best teacher) to come in. It was pleasing—to see that he has a family once more, but they were not them. They will never be them. And he berates himself that they are not what you need (lies).

So he runs. He runs far, far away from them (because he is afraid). He's leaving everything he needs (loves) behind. Because that's just the way it is—the way he is.

But a green eyed monster snuck her way into his heart. She tries to hold him back. She confesses with tears brimming in her eyes. He breathes in the cold air that fills his lungs as he kept concentrated. He can't stay, he thinks. He flashed his way on her back to say his final words, "Thank you." His words are sincere, but he still leaves her because… not even she can convince him.

Months passed and years passed. He was not the same anymore. They were not the same anymore. He became a cold blooded avenger. A cold blooded avenger who draws out his sword and unleashes the power of hatred to spill the crimson blood out of his enemies.

Because he hates the village (his home). They tried to coax him back. But he wasn't the little boy anymore who played with his friends in sugar land with rainbows and happiness. There wasn't for room that, no. So he tries to kill them because he's blind. There was no light that bled through the walls and only darkness was left.

The wall of solitude and pain. Naruto wants him back, but he does not understand him at all. So he decides… either he dies or his closest friend does.

It was all planned. A war between two forces was to break through. A battle for a reality or a dream world. He decided to protect reality with Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi. It was over, they decided. He perfectly balanced out with Naruto. They saved the world. He was still a criminal to the others' eyes, but to his (new) family… he wasn't—he probably never was.

Punishments were made, but he was welcomed again. He doesn't need the scared villagers scrambling away from him because they weren't the ones he was returning to. He has this new family. They might be broken, but they can fix it.

"Sasuke-kun?"

Wide green eyes peered at him. And maybe soon enough, he can build a family with a couple of children with inky locks and wide green eyes. . There is a boy with bright eyes (opposing his dark obsidian eyes) who has everything. He has two loving families—or maybe three, counting the ones from above. Maybe it wasn't too perfect, but for him... perfect was an understatement. It was beyond perfect.
