Chapter I *Year 2018* Timberlake, Ohio

"Zetsumei? Are you done packing for the trip?"

"Yeah, but do I have to?"

"All I know is that it's business and you have to leave in an hour and a half."

"Takeshi, I don't care if its business. I just don't want to go down there. It's too warm." I grabbed my bags and handed one to Takeshi.

He shook his head and headed downstairs. I turned off the light and headed after him.

Once we got downstairs, Takeshi turned around.

"Sis, I don't really like the idea of you staying down there with Eric. He's just not normal."

"I won't be staying with him, don't worry. I'll make sure of that."

"Let's just go. Do you have your phone?"

At the airport, Takeshi stopped at the entrance.

"You're not going inside with me?" I asked, taking off my seatbelt.

"No. Sorry, sis. I wish I could, but I have wedding plans to make." He leaned over and gave me a hug.

I smiled and got out. I grabbed my bags form the bed of Takeshi's truck and closed the passenger side door. I waved to him and headed inside the airport. I walked to the flight desk to check in.

I gave the lady my ticket.

"Ah. General Yakunai, sign these and put your suitcase on the scale." I did as she said and everything was just fine.

I hate being recognized like a celebrity all the time… She gave me my ticket back and I stood in line for the security scanners.

"General! This way!" A security guard shouted.

I followed him. He led me through t the terminal I was supposed to be at. The man at the counter looked at me strangely. I walked over.

"Late are we?"

"For first class, I know. I don't mean to be late."

"Go on in and get settled." I left and he did a last call for passengers.

I headed through the tunnel onto the plane and one of the stewardesses showed me to my seat.

"We hat to move someone so the group could stay together. You're fine with sitting next to someone you don't know, right?"

"I'm fine, I get along with just about everyone." I replied and sat next to a kid, who had black hair with chunks of bright red. I sat down and the stewardess put my bag in the overhead compartment.

I relaxed in my seat after takeoff and shut my eyes. Hopefully, this will be one of the better experiences I've had with Eric. I am spending a week with him, anyway. Maybe he'll not be after me the whole time; he's a complete horn dog, but that's most men anyway, especially Norse men. They were always drinking and having relations with women, and a single man could own many women. The times have changed, but he hasn't changed much.
