a/n: So I cannot take the credit for this creative concept. This is all based on a beautiful graphic by lady-arryn on tumblr! Now, I don't believe I can link it here, but she is the creative mind behind this! The summary in quotations is hers from her post; the rest is mine. My hope is that I can take that post and run with it, and make a good adaption of the wonderful world of Game of Thrones into a science fiction-type world. I hope you all like it, and that I too will be able to keep it up and running (and not give up). Also, even though I am adapting the world into a sci-fi mold rather than fantasy, I may mess up. So feel free to let me know if I get a detail wrong - I will gladly listen to a nice, kind reminder, and will do my best at correcting it. Enjoy!

"After the death of Robert Baratheon, the Great Imperator of Westeros, the alliance of seven planets if falling apart. Imperial ships are now fighting battles in every corner of the galaxy. There's also alarming news from Nebula's Watch about a new alien species that conquers its way to the borders of the Westerosi Galaxy, while on the other side of the universe people are spreading rumors about a young girl with three giant robot machines; but no one knows what to believe in anymore."

The Westerosi Galaxy is located in the far western reaches of the universe. It is made up of a junction of seven planets. These planets separate into nine smaller regions, all commanded by powerful fleets: the North planet, commanded by the Stark Fleet; the Vale of Arryn planet, commanded by the Arryn Fleet; the River planet, commanded by the Tully Fleet; the Wester planet, commanded by the Lannister Fleet; the Reach planet, commanded by the Tyrell Fleet; the Dorne planet, commanded by the Martell Fleet; the Storm planet, commanded by the Baratheon Fleet; the Iron Planets, commanded by the Greyjoy Fleet; and finally, the Crown planet, commanded by the Imperator and his Iron Fleet. Along the farthest reaches of the North planet, is Starship Black, the primary headquarters of the Nebula's Watch, a military "brotherhood" of sorts that patrols the Wall, a forcefield that separates the rest of the galaxy from Beyond the Wall, an independent planet from the rest of the galaxy. The Wall was constructed to protect the galaxy from White Walkers, a ruthless breed of aliens who live in the uppermost north of the galaxy. Currently though, the Wall is mostly for defending against wildlings, or Free Folk, who are independent of the Imperator's reign, and separated from the rest of the galaxy by the Wall.

Separated by a large expanse of sky is the Essos Galaxy, not ruled by any fleet or imperator. This galaxy is made up of free planets, and is also where the barbarian Dothraki tribe resides – a foreign, ruthless tribe that can strike fear into the heart of any commanding fleet of Westeros. But as they are safely in another galaxy – and have no intentions of crossing the expanse of stars that separates them from Westeros, as they have no starships to cross and fear the great expanse of sky as well – they are not of much concern.

All is not well in Westeros, however. The galaxy is fraught with deception, bloodlust, and greed. And after Robert Baratheon's death, a new Imperator to command the rest of the fleets is needed – but his heir, Joffrey, is sadistic and horrible – and plenty others feel they are the rightful Imperator.

But we cannot jump into the middle of a story. Before the tensions arise, we must first learn how they did. This is where the prologue fits in.

Consisting of a prologue of sorts, and then following that the rest, this story will hope to shed a new light on the beautiful, wonderful, horrid world of Westeros. Please, step in and experience the world anew.
