...Bright lights.
...The sound of metal hitting metal.
...Blinding pain.
...A soft voice, and cold hands.
My body screamed out in pain, even opening my eyes hurt. I dug my hands into the sheets of the bed.
"Still in pain, Miss?"
I tried to nodd, but I can't seem to control my body.
"Oh, dear, it's been a full day since you've been admitted. I'm going to get your Doctor. Please, ma'am. Try to hold on, alright?"
I cryed out softly, the pain was back, as if it had ever left. My skin was burning, and I tried desperatly to not scream. I cryed out again, my fingers dig deeper in the sheets of the bed. When a cold hand was being pressed to my face.
". I need you to hold on, alright. I need you to not give into the pain."
I cried out, and groaned with pain. The heavenly voice slowly came close to my ear. It was soft, deep, and held a bit of something strong within it. It spoke so gently into my ear, I could feel the cold goosebumps rise over my burning skin as, he whispered.
"The pain will stop, it will be ok..." I groaned again, as I felt a tear slide down my cheek. I tried to let out another cry, but my voice was closed in my throat.
"Mandy, I need you to go and get a gurney, and have an ambulance ready. I will be transporting this girl to my home to watch over her better."
Taking me...to his home? No, I don't think so. I was not going home with some man I didn't even know. Even if his voice sounded like an angel's. But, my eyes wouldn't open. My lips wouldn't move. I was stuck going home with this man, and I couldn't do a thing.
", do you think that is wise? Her heart rate is slowing, she's almost...dead sir. I don't know what it is that is keeping this young woman alive, but...it won't be with her for much longer."
I slowly began to cough, my body shaking. I could feel air leaving my lungs, as I fell back agianst the pillows.
"I will take her home, and she will live. I promise you that, now go."
I heard the women's steps, and then Cullen spoke again.
"I'm very sorry, but...I didn't know what else to do. You will be alright, just two more days, and everything will be alright. I promise."
I cried out softer, and felt his cold hand on my face. He continued to whisper soft words of encouragement, but the last thing I heard was.
"The amblunance is here, . She is now released from the hospital is in your care. "
"I can handle the rest of this, please pray for her safety." The voice said, before my body disappeared back into the darkness and pain.
