1. Draco Malfoy sighed as he stared out into the sky. He was in the back gardens of the Malfoy estate, and it was in the middle of winter. He wore no coat, he did not care, for the only one on his mind was the brunette Gryffindor for which he loved. He was wrapped up in the schemes of Voldemort, nothing was like it was at Hogwarts, and he knew deep down inside himself that he would not ever see her , these feelings, did they feel so strong? All the years and she had never said a kind word to him. It was known that they hated each other. But it was just a game. Why didn't anyone understand?
Draco ground his teeth, and sat down on the frozen ground, staring at the stars. She was just as beautiful and as unique as each...but... She had Weasley. And she would never care about him in any way.
A lone tear dripped down from the silver eye of the dragon, and the moon shone in the sky.
2. Hermione stared at Draco appalled. He held a guitar in his hands and strummed the strings absentmindedly. She did not expect him here...outside the great hall doors. She heard he had left days ago...joined Voldemort...
Draco strummed the guitar and let the last note echo out into the silence, and then began a new song he had made.
Hermoine's mouth dropped open as she stared at the boy. He was singing and playing, and beautiful notes came out from his mouth as he sang a song in some other language. French, maybe? She never knew...he never told her he could sing like this...it was so beautiful.
Draco finished the song and let the strings vibrate on the acoustic guitar. He looked up and saw her standing there, staring, gaping. He smiled.
3. Hermione wiped her eyes, letting out a sob as she was drenched in the rain. His back faded into the fog, and then she knew he was gone. Draco. He left. To never return. The sadness crushed her now, and Hermione fell to her knees sobbing. She never told him...how she felt...she pushed it aside...pushed him away. Draco had told her...they had confided in each other...about everything...up until that moment...
When he told her he was leaving.
The rain pounded into Hermoine's back, soaking her with the cold, bitter rain. She knew she'd get sick being wet like this, but she didn't care. Now he was gone, nothing mattered anymore. Nothing.
Draco, why didn't I tell you?
4. Draco stepped out of the taxicab, helping Hermione out as well. Eagerly she let him pull her along, through the crowds of the amusement park. It was the last day of summer, before their sixth year at Hogwarts. Then after that, Hermione and Draco would part their separate ways. Today, they would enjoy every moment.
They went on the Ferris wheel first, even though Hermione didn't like heights. She clung to Draco tightly, especially when the Wheel stopped when they were on the very top.
"I have to admit, the view is amazing from here." She remarked, still holding on to Draco tightly.
"Told you so." Draco said, giving a grin only for her, eyes shining brightly.
