Axel pressed the cigarette to his lips, inhaling the sweet taste that filled his mouth. He slowly tilted his head back against the wall taking a look at the grey sky above. He could feel the nicotine slowly take effect- which he desperately needed. He let out a ring of smoke; watching it descend to the sky, before breathing in the warm spring air. Axel closed his eyes, the blissful sensation sinking in.

The sound of the metal door grabbed Axel's attention. He placed his hand on his knee dangling the cigarette, adjusting his head to the side watching the door open. The smell of coffee beans roasting filled the air making it hard to focus at the figure at the door.

If the scrawny-like figure didn't catch Axel's interest then the boy's golden locks would have. He watched the boy air dry the cloth he held, whipping it in the air. He watched intriguingly, putting the cigarette back to his lips. He felt a smile start to form but tried to keep it in so he gave out another puff of smoke. The blonde glimpsed up catching Axel's stare.

He rolled up the fabric in his hands. "You aren't allowed back here."

Axel held his stare with the boy, inhaling the cigarette so that the smoke filled deep in his lungs. The blonde crossed his arms, "Did you hear me, sir? You aren't allowed to be back here." He stepped down the stone steps and stood a few feet away from Axel.

Axel let out a laugh, "I heard you." He looked at the opposite wall in the alley, examining the graffiti across the brick wall.

From the sigh he let out, he was annoyed. Axel's smile broadened, 'This is going to be interesting.' He thought.

"Sir, please leave. No ones allowed here." It seemed like he was trying to reason with him.

Axel chuckled, "wow, your annoying for a kid. How old are you fifteen?"

The boy rolled his eyes. "Don't you know its rude to ask strangers questions."

Axel brought the cigarette back up, "I'm just trying to be friendly, i just want us to be friends, but from the looks of it your just being plain rude."

The blonde took a step toward the door, "I'm getting the cops."

"And tell them what? That an underaged employee is working here. Don't you have to be like what, nineteen? I hear that they have a strict policy here." Axel smirked, blowing out more smoke. "It would be a shame."

The blonde stood frozen for a second watching Axel in disbelieve. He started up the steps and walked back inside, slamming the door behind him.

'Well that helped blow off some steam.'

Axel observed the stick in his hand, a frown forming on his face, most of it already consumed up. He stood up throwing the stick to the ground; put pressed his hand through his red hair.

"To bad I had to take it out on him, he had such a cute face."
