Emma was walking to the police station when she felt someone waking behind her, she turned around and gasped.

"Surprised to see me, love?"

Emma just stared for a few seconds at the man in front of her, "No, no. You can't be here, it's not possible."

Killian took a few more steps so that he was right in front of her and put his lips to her ear, "Oh but I am, and I believe we have some catching up to do."

She shoved him away, even though a part of her didn't want to. "How the hell did you manage to get here? The portal was closed, the bean you had was dead. How'd you do it?"

He just smiled that stupidly beautiful smile of his at her and raised his eyebrows, "Turns out the bean wasn't as useless as I once thought. The same could be said for you."

She didn't really know what to say to that so she just looked at the ground, but she could feel her heart beating a little faster.

"Emma, look at me."

She looked up and the gaze that met her eyes right then was enough to get anyone's heart racing.

"I want to apologize, for the things I said to you before. Although you did abandon me for ten hours with a giant, the things I said were a bit harsh and I truly didn't mean them." Now it was his turn to look at the ground, "To be honest, I feel quite the opposite towards you."

He finally looked up and they just stared at each other for what felt like a lifetime when he broke the moment by turning around, clearly not thinking Emma was going to say anything in return.

But just as he was about to start walking away,

"Killian, wait."

She grabbed his hand and pulled him back to her, "I don't hate you either."

And then she kissed him. For a split second Killian was so shocked he couldn't do anything but then he wrapped his arms around her waist and she put her arms around his neck as he deepened the kiss. He smiled into the kiss after a moment and said, "It's about bloody time."

She smirked, shoved him, but only a little, not wanting to really let go yet, and said, "Oh, shut up."

"Wait a minute, did you just call me Killian?"

"Would you rather me call you Hook?" Emma said, their faces still only inches apart.

His face suddenly got serious as he said, "No, I most definitely prefer Killian. Especially coming from you."

Her face softened and she kissed him lightly this time, she then pulled away but still kept one hand in his, "I was on my way to work, but how about I give you a tour instead?"

The smile he gave her then was so genuine it felt like her heart was melting, "Emma Swan, playing hooky? For me?"

She just gave him a look and they started walking hand in hand to Granny's.
