Admiration from Afar

Hey this is my first story so please be kind. I wanted to write this considering the date and that I didn't see a lot of this pairing. I know this won't come out on the tenth. But hey, I tried. QQ

Summary: Luxord can only love Zexion from afar. Grow some guts!

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters

Organization XIII was a place for nobodies with enough consciousness to have self-awareness and power. They all knew they didn't have hearts, but some preferred to act like they did or pretend. Their leader, Xmenas, made sure that everyone knew they didn't have hearts by encouraging militant behavior and favored those who kept to the regimen.

Zexion, number VI, acted just like how he was told to. He was always spending time in the library reading or... reading. Maybe once in a while he'd have a conversation with Lexaeus or Vexen to talk theories and share ideas with. Zexion didn't necessarily back up Xmenas, but followed his example by not engaging in worthless play.

Luxord, number X, was the opposite. Games were his specialty and power too. He acted carefree, and liked to gamble with other organization members and get drunk. He could win every game and enjoyed taking other member's money and whatever else he could win.

One day Luxord came across Zexion in the headquarters' hallway. Zexion only thought of Luxord as a playing, frivolous drunk, but Luxord thought differently of the other. Luxord knew he didn't have a heart, but something about number VI always stirred something in him. He always liked that feeling and wanted to feel like it constantly.

"Hey Zexion," Luxord calls out. That was why today he felt like making an impression on the cloaked schemer.

Zexion ignored the outburst. 'What does this fool want with me? Nothing probably, just toying with me, don't respond.' Zexion thought as he kept on walking.

Luxord couldn't help but feel heartbroken.

*Grow some guts*

"Zexion please wait!" Luxord grabs his wrist feeling a burst of bravery.

"What!?" VI growls softly.

"Umm…" Luxord didn't actually mean to grab his wrist. He scratches his head nervously and thought frantically, 'Shit! Smooth Luxord, now what are you going to do?'

"If you have nothing to say X then I'll be on my way." Zexion says in a monotone voice. Only his eyes give away the irritation he feels.

"Wait you can't go! I, uh…" He states nervously. He can't think of anything to say.

"Oh for the love of!-"Zexion's quickly interrupted by a pair of lips smashing into his own. The schemer can't get away since Luxord is too strong. He retaliates by kicking Luxord in the shin because he is so short. 'Ouch! His kicks are strong for someone of his stature.' Luxord surprisingly admitted in his head.

"Zexion, I know this may not be the best way for me to tell you my feelings but, you make me able to feel! Really feel, not just this hollow half-lives we live." Luxord can't help but feel a little proud and excited when he says that.

He watches for some changes in Zexion's movements. Nothing.

Zexion quickly turns around and says "You think you can swoon me by kissing me and then confessing? How arrogant are you?" Before he leaves he swiftly kicks Luxord in the same place again and enters another room down the hall before Luxord can get up.

Luxord is still lying on the floor when another organization member arrives. Their hood is up so he can't tell who it is.

"Hey buddy, how's it going down there?" Said person laughs.

The voice gives it away. "Axel leave me alone" Luxord replies gruffly.

"Whatever you say" Axel leaves laughing. His boots click as he strolls away.

Luxord gets up, hoping to find Zexion and explain his actions in a better way.

*Get Zexion or die trying*

Author notes: sorry for the lame ending. I wrote this in about an hour. I wanted to write it before the eleventh but too slow. I really don't like the title either. I'm not sure if I should write another chapter either. But please R&R.

EDIT: 1/13/2014 I've decided to try and edit this since I cringed after reading the first paragraph. I should have enough integrity(?) to fix this up. Who knows if I'll edit the whole story. Well... it is slightly better.
