First Date
The Dress
I don't own any of these characters however much I would like to. Please R and R!
I couldn't believe it. As I looked at myself in the mirror, I couldn't believe that I was actually getting ready to go on
a first official date with Ron Weasley. Ron! I can't believe that after these two tense years we were going out. I never in
my wildest dreams thought that we would actually get together.
I kept thinking this to myself as I took in my appearance. My usually unrully curly hair was laying in smooth curls,
softly framing my face. I had put on the barest hint of make up. The real star of me was my dress. Or lack there of.
Though I was not planning on anything to crazy happening tonight, I figured why not play around a little. The tight, black,
strappless dress hugged my svelt body like a second skin. The only downfall was that I really didn't fill it out the way that
it was supposed to be. But, I had to work with what I got. As I looked in the mirror, I was tranfixed in awe. Though it
was me, it was a new me. A me that, hopefully, Ron would like.
The shoes were a whole nother matter. The strappy silver shoes laced up almost to my knee. The made my legs
look longer, as if they were going to heavan. Legs that would wrap all the way around. They hurt like hell, but the overall
effect was worth the pain anyday. I gave myself the once over, grabbed my perfume and sprayed liberally while looking
at the clock. 15 minutes to 8. He should be here any minute. Much to my suprise, Ron had suggested we go on a date in
the world, the muggle way. It was sweet how hard he was trying, but I wanted him to feel comforable. He explained that
he had always wanted to see a movie where the actors didn't jump out of the screen to tell you to be quiet.
As I made my way down the stair, I couldn't help but fidget with my dress and hair. I felt so unlike me, but I felt
powerful. Almost as if I could make anyone, any man, do anything I wanted. As I got to the bottom of the stairs the
doorbell rand. I smiled. He was early for a change. I took a deep breath, hiked up my dress, and smoothed my hair
one last time. I tried to relax my face and give myself a sultry look. When I swung open the door, I had a sudden urge to
take a picture. Ron was in mid knock with a bright smile, but as soon as he saw me, His freckled face turned a deep
shade of red, the exact shade of his hair, and his blue eyes bugged from his head.
"H-Hermione? Wow, uh, you look......wow!"
"A little better than my uniform, huh?" I gave a little turn. The flowers he had been holding fell to the ground. He
clumsily picked them up and handed them to me.
"These are for you." I took the prize from his outstreched hands. I slid up to him and placed my free hand upon
his heated cheek. I placed my lips upon his. It was perfect. Just like it was when we had kissed before. He didn't move.
He stayed in the same position the entire time. After a few seconds I pulled away. My own face a little warm.
"Thank you, Ronald. Are you ready to go?" He couldn't speak. He only nodded. "Let's go on our first official
date." As we left and walked toward his father's fixed up Ford Anglia, I couldn't help but think that this date would be
a first date to remember. Especially given that I had taken the extra care to wear the sexiest lengerie that I owned.
