This is an incomplete short story that I currently have no intentions on finishing. I'm simply uploading it here so that I may receive critiques in order to further improve my writing. Then maybe one day I'll post a one-shot or multi-chapter story.

The sixteen year old girl's leg bounced up and down as she waited for the other passengers to find their seats and put their things away. After that, she'd only have to survive twelve and a half hour flight to see her dear, older sister. Easy, right? Apparently not for Hatsune Miku. The petite girl's mind always wandered and felt her feeling all too nervous while on the airplane. Why did her sister have to live so far away from (new) home?

"Nee-Chan, you better have sweets ready for me when you come pick me up.." She muttered to herself as a pink haired male silently sat next to her. With a huff, Miku turned to watch other passengers only to be greeted with the sight of a handsome, young man sitting next to her. "H- hello, sir.." She gave him a small smile and waved her hand once to go with her greeting. "Hello," He said and turned back to the book he was reading.

"Um, what's your name?"

Sighing silently, he turned to face the teal haired teen. "VY2 or Roro. Whichever you prefer. And you?" The girl seemed to blink as if she were surprised that he had answered her. "O- oh! I'm Hatsune Miku! Nice to meet you Roro-San!" She stuck her hand out and waited for him to do the same. As another sigh passed the young male's lips, he reached out and shook her hand gently. "It's nice to meet you Hatsune-San."

"Likewise, Ro-" Miku was cut off as the flight attendant began the usual ritual of explaining the safety procedures and where the exits where. Giving Roro an apologetic smile, she pulled her hand back and turned to stare out the small window. After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the airplane began to take off. Miku's breath hitched, her hand immediately latched onto Roro's, her shoulders tensed up and she closed her eyes tightly as the plane lifted off the ground, ascending into the pale blue sky.

"Excuse me, Hatsune-San?" Roro's deep, but soothing voice flowed into her ears. "You can let go of my hand now. We've evened out." In an instant, the teen pulled her hand back and bowed her head to him an apology. "I- I'm s- so sorry! I- I didn't mean too!" She remained in that pose, trembling slightly. "It's quite alright." He said as he reached out to pat her head. "Everyone gets a little tense as we take off."

She nodded her hand and quickly turned away from him to hid her burning red face accompanied with tears. 'Everyone gets a little tense as we take off?' She almost had to laugh. No one else grabbed their seat mate's hand suddenly, but then again she had her eyes closed. So how could she know? Shifting in her seat, she tried to get as comfortable as she could to stare out the window. There was no way she could face Roro and his questioning gaze.

"Why are you flying out to Japan?" He asked after an hour had passed, his piercing golden eyes wandered from his book to the nervous sixteen year old.

"Oh, um.. I used to live in Japan till three years ago cause my parents' job required them to move to America. But my older sister moved back there a year ago and I'm gonna try and see if I can stay with her… I miss Ja- Oh!" Miku turned to Roro suddenly. "I'm sorry! I kept rambling on and like- I'm sorry! W- why are you traveling to Japan?"

I hope it wasn't too bad to read. I also know it's short, but that simply because I never finished it. ;w; I'm not good at writing stories.
