Author's Notes: I have never wrote anything like this before. This is going to be a completely non-dialogue fic with a lot of symbols that definitely aren't difficult to understand.

Beautiful Wrappings

A hand closes around a rock. There is nothing special about it, it is a bit rough and dark grey in color. It is very dull in appearance.

The stone is placed inside a box that is in no way special either. It is made of regular cardboard, just slightly thicker than usual.

The box is wrapped in a brightly-colored wrapping paper. The paper reflects light in a manner that makes it seem like it is glowing.

Ever so carefully a pair of hands ties a ribbon around the package. The ribbon is coated with glitter, giving the package the finishing touch it needed.

Brown eyes look up into a mirror and a pale, sorrowful face glances back. Full lips turn into a false smile and cheeks begin to gain color again. The young man walks out, not looking back at his reflection. If the wrapping is bright enough then perhaps no one bothers to open the package. That way no one will be disappointed by the dull stone inside.
