She sat by the windowsill, all curled up with a pillow between her chest and knees. She'd look up from her book every so often to admire the rain falling in pitter-patters on her window. She was getting drowsy. She might fall asleep then and there, not even making it to her bed. That was when she heard the rustling of keys struggling to open the door. That could only be one person. But that was impossible.

A tall, impressive figure entered the quaint apartment. "Damn lock's always jammed." She tossed her book aside and ran up to him "Draco!" she wrapped her arms tightly around him, "You're not supposed to be back for another two weeks!" She didn't care that he was drenched, she felt warm in his arms. "Well, I missed you." She looked at him. "But your business-" he hushed her with a kiss. "Exactly Hermione. It's my business. I can very well do what I please." He brought to her attention that she was now as soaked as he. She laughed. "I don't mind." "You might get sick." He warned, "It's raining like the devil out there." She rolled her eyes. "Yes I know. Isn't it beautiful?" "Hardly." He replied. She looked him up and down. "Take off the coat Draco, I can hardly hug you properly." He obeyed.

She swooned. Underneath the coat he wore a white button down shirt and khaki work pants. Accented with his best black tie. It flattered him quite nicely. "Draco?" "Hmm?" he pulled her up to his chest. It was hard to breathe.

"Would you care to dance Mrs. Malfoy?" he breathed into her ear. It sent goosebumps rushing across her skin. She smiled. He brought her left hand up to his lips and kissed just next to the brilliant stone resting on her finger. "You're too much." She said. He pulled her closer and they swayed. "On the contrary. I'm not enough."
