Ever since Alfred was a child, he had Arthur in the palm of his hand. So much, that he wouldn't mind the constant wining about his food any more than his fits. Even the day he was mad about the king's laws and broke all the tea cups in the house, it was okay. Of course he disciplined him; any good big brother would... However it was the intensity the king wanted that England was upset about.

Arthur stood in the middle of Austria's castle flinching at the sudden memory as Alfred walked in. Alfred's chest rose and fell slowly with his breath. Arthur sighed. All these nations were passing him up... He was weaker than he used to be... But Alfred, he was so strong. He could go through anything with a smile on his face... Even the war, the faint smile of victory... Arthur cringed and realized he was thinking much too far into this. It's Austria's birthday, he should celebrate.

"Arthur, you should talk to him"

He cursed under his breath.

"You know I hate it when you respond to my thoughts Lily" he grumbled to the fairy.

"Well I'm sorry but I can't stand seeing you like this."

"What would talking to him do to help anyways?" Arthur sighed, then, almost on cue, Elizaveta and Rodrich spun in front of him to the music and kissed.

The small being giggled as Arthur's face went red.

"Bloody hell... You know what? If he says the word, I'm his. But until then, I'll be the lonely old Brit that no one cares about. And I'll be happy with it." and with that, he took a prominent sip of his tea, showing that was all he had to say on that matter.

"Happy with what?" a voice said behind him.

England choked and almost dropped his cup.

Alfred laughed "Talking to your fake fairies again?"

Lily flipped him off. Not that he could see, of course. "You know I would have cursed him already if you didn't like him so much."

Arthur tried to keep from laughing as he said "Git, they're real, you're just too stupid to see them."

Alfred rolled his eyes "Sure, whatever. Gotta use the restroom, be back later" he said and gingerly walked towards the bathroom.

Arthur muttered "No manners, that boy..."

So I finally got off my lazy ass and fixed my cpu, and now I can submit stories! Expect quite a bit of activity, cause I got stories stacked up from the time I spent without a working account. :3
