Jesse took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the sweet country air. He surveyed the country before him. After the forest had collapsed, he didn't know what to think. Would Winnie still live here? Would she even remember him? Hesitantly, he walked down the hill and down the street she (had) lived on. Ding, dong! The bell echoed through a quiet house.
"Just a minute!" A sweet voice answered his call. The old door creaked reluctantly open. "Winnie?" The beautiful girl fell into his arms, sobbing joyfully.
They walked into the house, chatting about old times. As Winnie glanced one last time over her shoulder, she looked disgustedly at a rotting corpse of a frog, lying in the middle of the road.
