Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom. And I can't think of anything witty to say right now, so, sorry.

The poem at the end is my own. I wrote it on a seperate occasion, but it seemed Sam-ish, so I put it in.

Anyway, I wrote this like a million years ago, back when I watched DP regularly. I decided to submit it in honor of Phantomania! Yay!

Broken

"Any last words?" Skulker grinned at Danny, who had not a shred of hope of escaping from his clutches.

Danny looked at me with pure disdain, his eyes containing an unimaginable hurt that only he and I could feel.

"Hurry up and make some sort of pitiful remark before I finish you off for good." Skulker sounded mildly anxious, but still had that same bone-chilling grin on his face.

Danny looked at me again, his dazzling blue eyes sparkling under the moonlight.

Only his eyes were that last thing on my mind just then.

"I love you, Sam Manson."

No sooner did he utter those words—words which I had so longed for him to say but that now sealed his fate forever—than Skulker shot him with a single life-taking green beam.

Danny gave a low, pitiful moan—a sound which made my heart break—and squinted up at me one last time, and fell to the ground.

At that very moment two lives shattered into pieces.

Broken

Broken down

Falling

At your feet

One day

I will come back

And pick up the pieces

Of my broken heart

My broken world

Put a rock in the slingshot

Aim it

Let it fly

Hits my heart

I'm going to die

Shatters

Into fragments of broken glass

Turns to tears

I'm falling fast

I'm dying

I'm falling

I'm crying

Nothing can save me now…

Except you

Please save me

Rescue me

Be the water in my desert

The desert of my pain

Nothing can save me now

Nothing can save me now…

except you

Please review if you liked it. And if it didn't make you too sad.

(...oh, and Danny and Sam really, REALLY need to hook up. Like pronto.)
