Warning: fluff, OOC, bittersweetness, use of present tense, kissing... ummm... my writing.
Summary: It is time for Estonia to go, it will be bittersweet but it's not the end.
Dedication: This is dedicated to HappilyAustria~ Who I said I would write this for!
A/N: Okay, so this will most likely have a sequel or something because I do not like how I ended it for an actually ending.. . so.. expect a sequel. Ah.. this is so horribly short! I never wanted it this short!
XoXoXoXoXoXo
It's a kiss.
Gentle, undemanding and loving.
It's like a purple hue against the fading horizon.
Beautiful, yet painful all at the same time because the kiss is one of good-bye.
The tears in his eyes are far from invisible as he slowly moves away. He knows there is a silver lining: his freedom but right now he cannot see it. All he sees is his loves broke eyes staring at him.
"Maybe... sometime later... we can come back to this place." Estonia says gently and Russia nods, know full well what he meant.
'This place' does not mean where they are as nations but where they were as humans, as lovers. 'This place' is where their hearts where, and where their hearts where being forced from.
"Da, maybe." Russia says as Estonia finishes up his packing.
"I will never stop loving you." Admits Estonia and Russia moves closer.
"One more kiss." Russia mumbles gently and Estonia caves, it's not like it can make him want to stay any more than he already does.
Their lips connect and Russia wraps his arms around Estonia's waist, pulling him closer. Estonia moves his hands to wrap around Russia's neck and to weave his fingers through the pale hair. Neither of them wants to pull away but the need for breath becomes a priority though that doesn't stop the Russian nation from pulling their bodies even closer. Estonia smiles bittersweetly before burying his head into Russia's neck, liking how the scary felt against his skin.
"Eduard loves Ivan, da?" Russia asks as he puts a cheek against Estonia's hair.
"Da, I love you." Estonia replies before they hear someone clearing their throat from behind them.
"...Sorry to interrupt... but we've got to get on the road." Lithuania says almost gently.
"Ah... yes.." Estonia quietly remembers, "I'll be right down." he adds and Lithuania nods before leaving them alone.
"Do not be a stranger." Russia smiles.
Estonia laughs lightly, "I'd never."
"Do you need help with your bags?" And Estonia nods, knowing this was just a ploy for them to spend a few more seconds together. Russia grabs them while Estonia only takes a small carry-on bad. They walk down the stairs and into the foyer quietly, not wanting to ruin the moment. Russia pulls him closer for one last kiss before they say the final good-byes.
This was a bittersweet ending to something but they both know that this wasn't permanent. They would get back together and in time, they would (most likely) move back in with each other. Both of them felt this way, and they both anticipated it. It would happen, but there was no way to know when, no way to tell when they were going to get back to what and who they wanted.
