Arya Stark, Winterfell's hero, looks at the distant horizon. In the distance, she can see a mass of earth. After 2 months sailing west, looking for what was never found, finally land. Her lips tilt up, a loud laugh resounds. Her life is not what she expected seven years ago when she was just a girl who would not be a lady. It's better and worse. Her parents and her brothers are dead. A brother who once dreamed of being a knight is now the king of six kingdoms. A sister who once dreamed of being the wife of a brave lion king and having his cubs is now a strong and independent Wolf Queen. A Queen in the North. Another brother tormented for being a bastard discovers that he was never a bastard, from bastard to king, from king to Lord and from Lord to Freeman.
She is a hero, a murderer, an adventuress. She is Arya from Stark House.
Her ship was getting closer to the coast. After two or three hours they are less than 100 meters from the coast. The coast is rocky, with high cliffs. Then she decides to follow the coast to the south until they find a place to dock. While they continue sailing, Arya notices that the temperatures are higher at times. Not as high as in Esoss, but less cold than in the North. The water is clearer and the sea calmer.
After sailing for two days, she sees several ships in the distance, boats that come and go from a city. A city with a great port. Not as big as the King's Landings but bigger than White Harbor.
All her crew is euphoric, 200 men and women who have followed her in this crazy adventure. An adventure that has never been improved. An adventure equivalent to death for many.
"I suppose it makes sense that I am the one who succeeds, I, who killed the frozen death, also triumph in the crossing of death."
All the good humor of Arya vanishes when seeing the signs of some boats.
Dragons
Dragons
She sees the three-headed dragon of House Targaryen. But she also sees others that she had never seen before. A white dragon on a blue background with a crown on the head. Two green dragons with heads entwined on a gray background.
Arya swallows when she notices the design of the boats, anything she has never seen.
Dragons are a surprise but what is left out of breath is a particular banner. And no, it's not the Targaryen banner.
A gray Direwolve on a white and green background.
Her banner
The banner of House Stark.
