"Wow, it's big."

"Wow, it's big." Impressive, she thinks. Well, either that or simply impossible.

"Yeah," he agrees absent-mindedly and rather impressed with himself, before snapping out of it. "Bigger than you thought it would be?"

"Well, considering your ego, it's rather small and fairly discreet."

"Now you're just mocking me. Stop it." His eyes return to the wall and admiration starts anew.

She studies his profile from the side, sees the pride and everything else that she loves about him, spread out on his face for more than just a few milliseconds. She's afraid, but at the same time she can't wait for this new chapter of them.

"So, do I have to get a magnifying glass to find my name on there?" she asks and doesn't exactly comply with his wish. But who is he to tell her not to mock.

"Hey, I thought we agreed on this." For a moment he really is confused and hurt, looking for some kind of acknowledgement on her face.

She smiles and swiftly touches his arm. "We did, relax." Then she takes one last look, before slowly walking away from him. "I like it," she simply lets him know and means it.

"If it's not adequate to my ego, I need to make it bigger, you know," he calls after her, watching her move her hips from left to right and right to left. The way she does it.

"The wall does not suffice for that, Cal."

It leaves him with a grin in the semi-darkness of these new halls, right under those big letters forming his name. Oh yes, what an adventure this will be.
