The woman driving the red Honda Civic was the new SmackDown Diva on Friday Night Smackdown. She was really excited to have been switched and possibly have an opportunity at the Diva's Championship belt. She had driven into the city that night to be in attendance of the show.
Now since the show was over, she was on her way back to the hotel. As she pulled away from the arena, she realized a black Hummer follow her out of the parking lot. A few more minutes later the Hummer was still behind her.
"Maybe he's going in the same direction," Maria thought to herself.
She kept glancing back at the vehicle in her mirror. When she accelerated, so did the Hummer. When she had passed a car, so did he.
Then he turned on his high beams, illuminating her car with light. He left them on for perhaps a minute. "Maybe he wants to pass me," she thought. But her senses were on edge.
She thought that in a situation like this that you have to be cunning and keep making a lot of turns. So when she made a sharp left turn into the next road, she was shocked to see that the vehicle also did too.
"Oh my God!" She began speeding. He turned his high beams on again. After a minute, he turned them off. Again, he turned them on…and then off.
She drove as fast as she could, but the Hummer stayed right behind. He turned his high beams on again, her Honda being flooded with light. "What is he doing?" she wondered. "What is wrong with him?" He then turned them off again. A second later he turned them on again and kept them on. As she pulled into Hotel parking lot, the Hummer pulled in too right beside her. "Call the police!" she yelled out to a person outside. While trying to run up the stairs to the room, she could see that it was Adam Copeland with a gun in his hand. When the police arrived, they began to handcuff him, but Adam pointed to Maria's car. "It's not me you want, it's him!"
Crouched behind the driver's seat, was a man holding a knife.
Adam Copeland explained that the man slipped into Maria's car just before she left the arena. He saw it happen, but there was no way he could have stopped it. He thought of calling the cops but was too afraid to leave Maria by herself for a second. So he thought it was best to just follow her.
Each time the man in the back seat would move up to attack Maria, Adam would turn on his high beams, causing the man to lower down, scared that someone might see him.
Author's Notes: This was one of the milder ghost stories that had scared me, but next time I shall make it more spookier. Thank you for the reviews on my last ghost story retake. I hope this is a success as well.
