The job had gone like a dream. Everyone had performed their parts perfectly, and now the case of three hundred thousand dollars was now sitting in between Danny and Rusty on the bed in Danny's hotel room, ready to be split between the six people involved in the heist.
The only problem was, two of those people were missing in action. A very slight technical glitch in the plan, which was neither Danny nor Rusty's fault, had meant that Frank had ended up in Colorado and Yen was God only knew where. Though they suspected somewhere in Fiji.
"You know, if it hadn't been for the—"
"Yeah."
"—and the—"
"Yeah."
"—then it would've been the perfect job," Rusty finished, licking the remnants of a burger from his fingers as he and Danny stared at the money in between them.
"Yeah."
The two sat in silence for a moment, watching the money and contemplating what to do next, and the problems with dividing up the cash at the moment.
"We could..."
"To Colorado?"
The two lapsed into silence once again, thinking.
"How about we just..."
"I suppose there's no other choice..."
Two identical smiles crossed their lips as they thought of what they were going to do. This sounded just right for them, a much needed vacation.
"You know, I've always wanted to see Fiji up close."
Danny silently considered for a moment.
"You just want an excuse to wear that shirt."
Rusty attempted to look innocent but there was a devious grin in his eyes that Danny had come to dread.
