He grabbed on tight to one of the handles of the console, trying to keep his balance as the TARDIS twisted through the vortex. The screen which always showed coordinates was going crazy, jumping around between times and places, and never settling on a single one. Until finally, everything went still, and the Doctor couldn't believe it when he found that all of the coordinates digits were set to zero.

His brow furrowed at the impossibility, and he wondered where he could have possibly been brought to. Standing fully, he walked over to the monitor, and used it to look outside of the TARDIS doors. Though he wasn't sure of what he would find, he certainly didn't expect to see a London street. If he was on earth in such an ordinary place, why did the TARDIS tell him that he was literally no where, in no time?

Grabbing his coat, he walked out the double doors, and surveyed the crowds of people as they walked past. It seemed like a completely ordinary day, with nothing special going on, but then again that's how most of his adventurous days began. He looked to the left of the TARDIS, and his heart skipped a beat. On one of the building walls was graffiti stating the phrase 'bad wolf', no doubt one of the messages that Rose had left herself. Was it a coincidence? After a second of real study, he found that the line through the 'f' was actually an arrow, pointing toward the alleyway between the buildings. Walking down the narrow path, he could see only a door at the end of the way, and wondered where it would lead him. He immediately tried to open it, and when that didn't work, he used the sonic to force it open.

The door swung inward, and despite creaking loudly, nothing happened. Stepping inside, he was surprised when the door closed behind him, and a light flickered on overhead. Suddenly a hologram flickered into life in front of him, and it was an image of Rose. She was wearing her 'punky fish' jacket, and had a strange glow in her eyes.

"My doctor, I am glad that you found this place, and this is number five. I haven't lost you yet, but already I can imagine how much I miss you, and I know that you miss me to. But Doctor, there is something that I want you to do for me, and I promise you won't regret it. It's something that you have been doing for a long time now, and I need you to do it a little bit longer. I need you to run. I am in trouble, and when you find my next message, you will need to run to find the final one. So do that for me, my Doctor. Run."

He took a deep breath as the message disappeared, and after a hesitant moment, he returned to the TARDIS as fast as he could.
