Beast Boy and Raven sat on the couch in the common room playing video games. Raven sat next to Beast Boy, reading her newest horror novel. Starfire was daydreaming on the roof. Robin...well, he had locked himself in his room. No one could manage to drive him out. Not even Starfire. They had all given up.

Suddenly the game shut off and Robin's voice rang throughout the tower. "Titans, meet me in the training room as soon as possible." Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy glanced at each other worriedly. Whatever Robin wanted to discuss with them had to be serious. Starfire's voice startled them out of their thoughts. "Friends, you are coming, yes?" Raven took Beast Boy's hand and the four friends rushed to the training room together.

Starfire flew ahead of the others, rushing to see Robin. He had locked himself in his room, and she was worried about him. Reaching the door to the room, she rushed inside. Seeing him standing in the center of the room, she his back to the door, she stifled a giggle and snuck up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to face her and her smile was replaced with a look of concern. His handsome features were troubled, his eyebrows drawn together in thought. "Robin?"

Robin surprised her by wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him. She snuggled into him and he sighed, resting his chin on her head. "Starfire...I'm sorry." Starfire lifted her chin, looking into his mask. "Robin?" He leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek just as the others entered the room. He looked into her eyes and hugged her to him once more before letting go and beginning to pace the room.

Starfire watched him closely and the others looked at her curiously.

"It's over," Robin interrupted. His friends looked at him. "I'm disbanning the Titans." The others looked at him in shock. Cyborg broke the awkward silence. "Rob...why?"

"We've defeated Slade. The police are handling all of the villians now. It's over. Nothing can change my mind."

Starfire stepped closer to Robin, lightly grasping his arm. "Please, what is this' disbanning'?" Robin's gaze shifted to the floor. "Starfire...there's no more Teen Titans. We're finished." Starfire gasped and stepped back in shock. Robin looked up at her tear filled eyes and took her hands in his own. "Starfire..."

"Robin, you promised." Robin intertwined his fingers with hers. "Starfire...please, I'm sorry..." A single tear fell down her cheek and he cupped her chin in his hand, wiping away the tear. She sniffled and hung her head. "You promised we would friends forever." The others were too busy comforting each other to see the exchange. Raven was buried in Beast Boy's arms. Cyborg was quietly talking with Beast Boy.

Robin raised Starfire's chin. His eyes were filling with tears as he watched her start to sob. He pulled her into his arms, whispering comforting words into her ear. "Starfire, I'm sorry. We'll always be friends. We'll keep in touch. U promise." He pulled back slightly. "I want to show you something that I've never shown anyone since I became Robin." She looked up at him and watched him take off his mask. She gasped as she saw the bluest eyes she had ever seen. "Robin...they are beautiful."

Robin stepped closer to her, tilting his face down. "Starfire...I...well..." He looked into her eyes for a moment before leaning down. His lips met hers and she fell into his embrace. Time seemed to slow as their mouths molded together. Cyborg's whistling broke their kiss. Starfire stepped forward and buried her face in his neck. He held her securely against him, his strong arms wrapped possessively around her waist. He leaned down to whisper in her ear once more. "Goodbye."
