Lovino sat silently, his legs crossed and hands rested on his knees.

He knew this house had something weird to it and he was going to get to the bottom of it. He was just following instinct, he wasn't sure if there was a right way to go about this. His family had always had this connection, it was just a matter of awakening it.

As he turned on the music, his memories showed him moments of his childhood where he woke with someone sitting on the edge of his bed. The person was usually his age, smiling gently and would run away as soon as they noticed that they were being watched.

He had no family nearby to consult about this spiritual problem, and so decided to take it into his own hands.

He closed his eyes and took deep breaths, letting the music run through him and relax each muscle it touched.

The music was purely there to keep him relaxed, if he was tense then whatever he was looking for wouldn't come.

He knew he'd have to patient, at least that's what his Nonno said when they spoke about the visions he had as a child.

He sat and waited, and waited, and waited some more. The first contact was a soft hand on his cheek. It gently moved to his hands and seemed to run invisible fingers from his palm to his fingertips.

They seemed to urge him to stand, but he kept his eyes closed and his butt seated. He knew that he had to keep control, he had to keep command and not just give into them. If he gave into what they wanted, he could be in great danger of possession or some kind of damage.

He ignored the twitches in his body that tempted him to move and the struggle he had to keep his eyes closed.

Visions played before his eyes, first a blur then the clear sight of a man's chest next to his cheek. He was in a ballroom, many were dancing around him as he was held close by this owner of the chest. He no longer felt the floor beneath him, it didn't feel like his eyes were closed and the embrace he was held in was warm and inviting.

"Welcome to our home."

The voice was mellow and rich with a beautiful accent. The owner of the voice rested his own face in Lovino's hair, "I'm glad I finally get to speak with you, even if you can't speak to me."

Lovino tried to lift his head, acknowledge the man in anyway but found he couldn't move. He hadn't honed this ability his family seemed to carry, and was now regretting not calling his little brother to keep an eye on his body as he did this.

"I will not hurt you, no one will. We swear it. My guess is that you did this just to see if you could."

Lovino tried to dig his heels into the floor and stop dancing. He tried to let go of the spirits hand, but whatever he tried he didn't seem to have the ability to control himself.

He had to focus, how could bring himself back into reality? That's when the spirit spoke softly into his ear, "The music, it's beautiful."

The music!

Lovino hadn't realized it before, but the music they were dancing to was the song he'd put on to help him relax. He concentrated on the music, listening to the words and attempted to move his body to the rhythm.

As soon as he felt he had reeled himself in to reality enough to gain control, he broke away from the spirit's grasp.

He opened his eyes and found that the music had stopped. He was on his feet, but in the dark room he'd sat in what felt like a lifetime ago.

Before Lovino could sit and process what just happened, a knock rang through the house from the front door.

"I'll be there in a second!"

Well, Feliciano had to visit at some point.
