"Do it; I dare you." Bella challenged, putting her hands on her hips. Alice raised an eyebrow. They stared, neither moving. Emmet waited anxiously in the background, nervous of the outcome.

"Best two out of three." Alice smirked, putting her elbow back down on the dinning room table.

"Visions are cheating." Bella declared, doing the same.

"Agreed." Alice nodded; Emmet chewed his fingernails (as best he could). Rosalie rolled her eyes, getting up and leaving the room, Edward passing her on his way in.

"What's going on?" he asked, looking confusedly at Alice and Bella, both of whom were lock in combat stares with one another.

"Shh!" Emmet hissed, pulling his brother down onto the chair Rosalie had left. "It's the championship round; so far, they're evenly tied."

"What… are they doing?" Edward whispered back, still confused. Emmet only hushed him again.

"Go!" Emmet boomed. "ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS!"

Quickly the girls rattled off the hand motions. Bella chose rock, Alice chose paper.

"Shoot." Bella gasped. "Now I have to win two just to beat our last record… and win this round? You did that on purpose."

"No, Bella. Visions are cheating, remember?" Alice smiled smugly, polishing her fingernails against her shirt.

"There's a record?" Edward inquired, as the girls got ready.

Emmet grinned, eyes full of excitement, "Yeah, Alice holds a record of seventy-five, Bella's seventy-one. They're highest scores are only one round apart. Pretty cool, huh?"

"When did they go twenty-three rounds of rock paper scissors?"

"Earlier this morning. Bella's winning this time, ninety-seven to ninety-seven." Emmet paused, "ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS!" Edward watched intently.

"Yes!" Bella cried. "Scissors beats paper! I win!"

"Pft… Only that game, Bella. We still have one game to go, remember?"

"Well, now it's ninety-eight to ninety-seven, eh Emmet? Who're you betting on?" Edward smirked, leaning back in his chair.

"Well, I was betting on Alice this time… Maybe Rose is going to get my Jeep too." he frowned.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah… rock-paper-scissors." Emmet announced, by far less enthusiastically. Edward stared, wide eyes at the outcome of the round, the deciding game: neither won.

"Re-do!" Bella growled. Before even Bella had known she'd won, Edward was out of his chair and hugging her.

"Guess I'd better go give Rose my keys." Emmet sulked, walking off towards the garage.
