For Lizzy, who requested Wolfstar with candy bar.

"Isn't he adorable?" Hope cooed as her newborn boy dozed, his tiny chest rising up and down with each breath he took.

"Indeed." Lyall gazed fondly at his son. He looked so innocent and peaceful; so angelic. He was perfect.

"What should we name him?" Hope looked questioningly at her husband.

Lyall stroked his beard thoughtfully. "Remus," he said firmly, "Remus is a noble name. He'll grow up to be strong and courageous."

Hope nodded in agreement. "Remus Lupin," she tested out, "He does look like a Remus."

Lyall's blue eyes were glowing with joy.

Lyall glared fiercely at Fenrir. "No, I will not allow my son to join some rabid dog pack! Now get your filthy hands off of me!"

"Fine." The large hands supporting Lyall released him and the bearded man fell to the the stone floor.

"Fine," Greyback repeated, his eyes glittering malevolently, "but you will pay someday, Lupin."

"Just don't take it out on my son," Lyall replied.

Greyback didn't respond.

Remus giggled happily as he pursued a particularly evasive butterfly. His parents were inside entertaining guests and were not keeping an eye out for their boy.

"Bu'fly," he gurgled, hopping fruitlessly as the butterfly dodged his hands.

Remus was so intent on catching the butterfly he meandered into the woods just beyond his house. His parents had warned him multiple times to not go near there. Lyall feared his werewolf adversary would lurking in the woods somewhere, waiting to bite his precious son.

His fears were proven right as Remus came running out of the woods a few minutes later, screaming about a scary man who'd sunk his teeth into his delicate skin.

When Hope discovered the bite marks, she'd sobbed, "My poor Remus. He'll be an outcast now! No one will like him, let alone love him!"

It was a time of despair in the Lupin household.

"Give me back my candy bar!" Remus demanded as he chased Sirius around the dormitory.

Sirius leapt over a bed agilely. "You have to catch me first!" he taunted, sprinting out of the dorm.

Remus eyed his wand which was resting on his bedside table. He didn't need to follow Sirius; a simple Summoning Spell would do the trick. He cursed himself for not thinking of such an easy solution earlier.

"Accio Sirius!" he said loudly.

He felt his wand vibrate in his hand at the same moment Sirius hurtled through the door towards him, having no control of his movements.

Remus tried to retreat unsuccessfully; Sirius collided with Remus, sending both of them onto the carpeted floor. Instinctively, Remus wrapped his arms around his best mate's waist, pulling him into his body.

The pair lay on the floor for a moment, breathing heavily. Remus was the first to notice the little gap between his face and Sirius's. He blushed and attempted to untangle himself, but Sirius wouldn't release him.

"I've waited ages for this moment; I'm not letting you go now," he growled and suddenly, they were kissing.

Remus's fingers wandered up to Sirius's renowned hair; his eyes fluttered shut as he relished the silky strands in between his fingers.

"I want my candy bar back," he muttered, sometime during their snogging session. Sirius merely laughed and carried Remus to his bed.

And what of the candy bar? It was lost somewhere among the crisp sheets of Sirius's bed. Sirius discovered it under his pillow a few days later and presented it to Remus, who chuckled and made him buy another during the next Hogsmeade date.
