That's what Rachel loved about Santana. The way she cared so much for Britney. Santana would literally jump in front of a Bullet for her without a second thought. She had never really gotten along with the Hispanic cheerleader but since Quinn had expressed her undying love for Rachel on her annual Yellowstone park road trip she decided to put up with her for Quinn's sake (they have been dating ever since) and then there was Britney. Rachel smirked at the thought of the Blondes one liners which managed to amused and bewilder the new directions.

That's why it was so hard for her to leave the life that she had built for herself in the last year of high school. She promised herself that she would go after the Finn kiss last year at Nationals. She would go & live the life that was destined for her.

You see, Kurt, Blaine and her had decided to move to New York after senior year, she had promised this to herself. She wasn't a Lima loser. Far from it. The tickets had been booked and the apartment bought (her 2 dads were very generous when it came to Rachel). They gave her the sum of $450,000. Blaine's parents matched this. Kurt agreed to this on the terms that his internship at Vogue would pay for their Bills.

Everything had been sorted out. She would wake up to Manhattan, head down to Broadway every morning. She would become a star, sing too sold out crowds, win a Tony. You know, all the things she's been dreaming of since she was 4. She would play 3 roles on Broadway, Laurey in Oklahoma, Evita & Funny girl. This is what she has always wanted. This is what she would do because she's Rachel, she's a star, and everyone one knew it, even if they didn't like admitting it sometimes. Everyone one always presumed this is what would happen. Actually no, they knew it. They accepted it, accepted that maybe they wouldn't do as well.

She was hated possibly even envied. Although there was someone who never envied or despised her. She is Lucy.

Lucy Q. Fabray.

Her relationship with Rachel had always been rocky but she loved Rachel, she was sure of it. It had been 6 months since they started dating but she was already sure that Rachel was her soulmate. You see Quinn had always been firm believer of fate. She was three and had created her own universe Complete with adventures and illustrations. They each had there own path. Lives that were meant too be. She could spend hours in her world creating more missions and additional characters. She often did because I'm not talking about Quinn, I'm talking about Lucy. You see she wasn't always so pretty and popular there was a time when she was neither of these things in fact she was far from it.
