A riddler, I am

And soon you will know me

Small creatures of meadows and sea

From high in the tree tops

And deep underground

ALL of you come and hear me

I am he who comes swiftly

Into the night

And from out of the smoke and the haze

Standing pale and indifferent

For all things I master

Until this old world I will raze

Hint, concrete and wires

(And formal attire)

I will settle right in your abode

Chemicals fuming

The cyanide flowing

On steel steers and stock, in I rode

Even atoms and matter

Could not withstand me

I destroy and from hence I create

My likeness is in you

Come into my cage

And feast on intelligent bait

I'll take you, my neighbors

Small and unknowing

To fuel, feed and fill my kind

Look to the skies

The electric highway

Sending signals, the wires unwind

The sky, once so blue

May seem to discolor

But its all in the name of progress

Creatures of earth listen

It has to have happened

Even if you must be opressed!

Erasing this "nature"

My design does not fit

I cannot see the earth for the land

I meet you, small creatures

And extend all my greetings

Hello all, my name is Man.
