Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.
Notes: I wanted to try another crack pairing and then I thought 'I haven't read any of those, I should write one.' And that's how this came to be.

Drowning
Gai would often have dreams of pale lavender eyes belonging to his student's cousin, her pale eyes and her amazing blue indigo hair.
Her softly spoken words that would be stuttered from her small pale lips and pale skin make her look like an angel, a forbidden angel but an angel nevertheless.
"Ah, my beloved student Neji," Gai cried out seeing him, "Now what are you doing lying around my student, shouldn't you be training? After all you are your springtime of youth."
Gai heard a small muffled giggle coming from beside his student, his bushy brows furrowed as he cursed himself for not noticing earlier.
Her small head poked around her cousin, who was glaring at his sensei, her eyes wide with laughter.
He was stunned for a moment but it felt like minutes as he took in her milky eyes, he felt like he was being sucked into them, they were pulling him in and there was to opening for him to get away.
He was drowning in a young woman's eyes, but they weren't just any eyes, oh no, they were the kind of eyes where you didn't mind drowning in.
As he drowned he noticed several things that lurked behind the paleness and youth, he saw hardships and sadness. He saw pain that he had not seen since his last comrade died, he an emptiness in her heart that wanted so badly to be filled and God forbid, he wanted to fill it.
He saw her love been trampled on by Naruto and he saw her love rebuild itself never to be knocked down for long, he liked that.
He saw her father's disappointment in her, she wasn't what he wanted in a daughter, no, but to the people around her, to him, she was everything they could hope for.
Gai was drowning in everything this woman held in her amazing eyes.
He was drowning and he didn't mind, that was until Neji made a coughing sound (though Gai knew his youthful student had done it to bring him back), looking shocked for a moment he looked back at the young woman.
"Ah, forgive me lady Hyuuga," he grabbed her soft smooth hand and kissed it, "Lady Hyuuga it was a pleasure to meet you but I must go for the springtime of youth waits for no one." She smiled, the smile replacing the shock, and gave another small giggle as a blush spread across her pale cheeks.
He smiled and his white teeth gleamed, she smiled and the world smiled back, he looked briefly into her eyes once more and wished he could drown again, if only for a little longer.
End of drabble, written by Jessica.
Yes, Gai and Hinata the biggest crack pairing I have ever seen, well not really seen because I'm the only one to write about it on
