Alessandro sat on the edge of his bed trying his best not to cry despite the consent pain. He wanted the suffering to stop, but he also did not want to inconvenience Brother Petros any further. He nervously fiddled with a piece of his blanket avoiding Petros' worried glance.

"Your holiness the sooner we accomplish this task. The sooner you can attend your meeting with your sister."

"Brother Petros, it just feels not right to have you do this." He soon felt the hot sting of his tears cascading down his face. He tried to think of something more pleasant, but all he could do was be embarrass.

"You need to relax your holiness and let your trusted knight do his job." Petros dropped to one knee, holding the young pope tightly, guarding his young body, shielding his tears from any unknown intruders.

"Are you positive that you don't mind assisting me like this?" He felt his words stumble along a broken highway simply adding to the embarrassing predicament.

"My liege, I am the commander of the Knights of the Inquisition, I hunt and slay the heretics whom would do you harm. You mean to tell me I cannot handle such a minuscule task?"

Alessandro glanced at Petros whom glanced down with concern eyes. He felt his emotions stirring, he offered a warm smile before burning his face into Petros, trying in vain not to cry but the pain was enticing and soon he began to whimper.

"Fear not, your holiness. Your knight is here."

"I'm sorry for the tears. Will you help me Brother Petros?"

"Now, get comfortable my lord. This will understandable hurt a lot and I must admit am new at this." Petros turned his head feeling the rush of embarrassment sting his cheeks.

Alessandro smiled, "There's no need to be embarrass. I might cry again, but, with you here I'll do my best not to."

Petros nodded. "Well, we should begin."
