Sokka yawned. "What a day," he said, staring into the campfire.
"I know. This swamp is creepy, huh?" Katara replied.
Aang giggled. "The firelight makes your faces look so silly!"
There was a long silence.
"I know what can lighten the mood!" Aang said cheerfully. "Let's sing a song!"
"Sure, whatever," yawned Sokka.
"Okay!" was Katara's answer.
Aang took a deep breath.
"I'm a goofy goober, yeah,
You're a goofy goober, yeah,
We're all goofy goobers, yeah,
Goofy goofy goober goober yeah!"
Katara giggled. "I think I get it now."
"Let's sing it again!"
"I'm a goofy goober, yeah,
You're a goofy goober, yeah,
We're all goofy goobers, yeah,
Goofy goofy goober goober yeah!"
Sokka rolled his eyes. "You guys, that is now how you sing that song."
"Huh? How do we sing it then?"
"Like this." Sokka pulled up a rock and starts banging on the ground to add percussion.
"Dunnun Dunnun Dun Dun! Oh,
I'm a goofy goober, yeah,
You're a goofy goober, yeah,
We're all goofy goobers, yeah,
Goofy goofy goober goober yeah!"
"Wow, Sokka, that's amazing!"
"Now, you guys sing when I point to you, and I'll sing instrumental."
Sokka started puts the rock down and starts clapping time.
"Dunnun Dunnun Dun Dun! Oh-"Sokka pointed at Aang and Katara and they started singing, as you know,
"I'm a goofy goober, yeah,
You're a goofy goober, yeah,
We're all goofy goobers, yeah,
Goofy goofy goober goober yeah!"
In the meantime, Sokka was singing this:
"Dun DUN dun DUn dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN dun DUN..."
When they finished singing, the swamp suddenly didn't seem so scary anymore.
