I do not own Static Shock!

Enjoy!

"You can't compare Static to Superman and Gear to Batman!" Frieda cried, throwing up her arms in the school cafeteria.

"Yes I can! Static can fly, he can defend, attack, track, and he's in the news and a hero in the town! Gear's like Batman because he has Gear and brains and no other special power!" Daisy argued back.

"Look, you can't have Gear as Batman because Batman doesn't have Princess Syndrome. He's never been kidnapped!" Frieda ended her statement triumphantly. There was no way Daisy could argue with that flawless logic.

Then she realized that Daisy wasn't huffing and admitting defeat. No, the other girl was holding her chin in her hand, thinking.

Ha! As if she could come up with a way to compare the town's super heroes to the well known dynamic duo!

"Yes, he is."

"And pray tell, how do you refute my logic?" Frieda purred. She just had to trounce whatever Daisy said next, and she would win their argument.

Then again, Daisy had a rather sly grin on her face.

"Because," She stated, "Superman is always rescuing Batman from near fatal plans, and Batman did take out a kryptonite laden nuclear missile for Superman."

Frieda looked at Daisy for a shocked moment.

"OMG, how did I miss that?" She exclaimed.

A table away, Richie swallowed down the last of his sandwich.

"How did that conversation start?"

Virgil peeked at him from his folded arms, resting on the table. "They were talking about who would be most like the current leaders when someone new has to step up and run the Justice League. Frankly, I don't want to consider a world without Superman and Batman right now, especially one where we get called upon to step directly into their shoes."

"Ah, yes. And being yaoi fans, it degraded into that soon enough."

"Rich, I thought you were gay."

"I am. I just don't like being considered a piece of meat."

A tray thunked down on the table.

"Guys, guess what? We're going to start a Static and Gear club! Gotta go! Bye!" Frieda and Daisy raced off as fast as they had arrived.

"You were saying?" Virgil phrased.

Richie groaned.

A/N: And I have thirty more ideas to write out. But because everyone seems to support Richie and Virgil getting together, I put the boys in the uncomfortable position of having to listen to people speculate about their love lives. I mean, their alter egos' love life. Two pages, four hundred words.
