Virginia's Summer Project – 106 stories in 106 days

Part 1 – Season I

Disclaimer: I do not own 'Bones'

A/N: Too long to be a droubble and too short to be a ficlet. So driclet? Naah, just kidding. Just something really short. 233 words.

Do you remember episode 5 of season 1. And Brennan's story of her childhood and the garbage bag. I wrote some ideas to that.

Oh, and that story is a part of stories I wrote a year ago. It was a special project for Polish Bones' forum. One story to every single episode. I may translate some more stories. Oh, they were all written before season 6.

All mistakes are mine.

Part: [5/22], [5/106]

Episode: 01x05 'A boy in a Bush'

Title: The smell of a garbage bag

Date: 10 VI 2010

Rating: K

Words: 233 (in original version 200)

"Pack your things!" Mrs Jetson threw the black garbage bag on Temprance's bed.

"But why?" asked young girl.

"You're going back to orphanage. Hurry up, I don't have time to waste. You've got 15 minutes to get ready." And with that she left the room. She didn't think that sixteen-years old girl needed more explanation.

"Tempe looked around. She didn't have much stuff to pack, ale she had were some old clothes, a few books and two pair of shoes. Her t-shirts and jeans still did smell of the garbage bag and she had to pack them again. They're going to stink again.

One more time, she'd change her school and she'd wear clothes which still smell like a plastic bag. Two more weeks would pass and when her things would start to smell normally someone would give her a black bag and tell her to pack. Every single time was like that and she didn't believe that something would ever change.

The doorbell took Bones out of daze. She looked at a plastic bag in her hands which she was changing in her bin. Every time she did that, the scent of the black back reminded her of those times. Reminded her of disappointment and humiliation she had felt every time when she's moving out.

'It's good I don't have to go through that again.' She thought and went to open the door.
