Just An Idea...
It was a normal morning, or as normal a morning as could be at a school where Irishmen try to turn water into alcohol, and our little "Golden Trio," was sitting down for breakfast. Ron and Hermione quickly started their daily foreplay, also known as an argument, and Harry simply watched with a smile on his face. To most, it would seem a smile of contentment, but not to a young sixth-year named Luna Lovegood, who decided that it was a smile of longing. Hoping to displace this expression, she hopped onto Harry's lap, and hugged him. Long since used to Luna's mysterious ways, Harry simply compensated for the weight by leaning forward, and hugged the blonde back.
"You love her," Luna whispered in his ear, knowing after all this time that no shock would show on his face.
"You know," he whispered back, "Most people would be shocked by how perceptive you are, but instead, I have a suprise for you: incorrect."
"Really?" She replied, surprised, "Are you sure?"
"Alright, not totally incorrect," our raven-crowned hero responded, "I think I could love her. But I don't want to, and I keep fighting the urge down."
Luna simply cocked her head in response; for once, he was confusing her instead of the other way around. Who wouldn't want to be in love?
"Every time I get the urge to try and fight for her, I'm reminded of some little gesture, or some tiny little moment that will keep me from wanting to seperate those two. For instance, over the summer at the Burrow? When Ron and I fixed that bloody Ford? After we finished working for three hours, Ron, Hermione, the twins, and I sat at their table just talking, and Ron brought up that one of his pick-up Quidditch games was the next Friday. And Hermione was just estatic, because usually she misses his games for her part-time job, but this one time she could make it."
"Are you sure she wasn't faking it?,"
"Yes," replied Harry evenly, "Because now, whenever I get a pain in my chest from seeing those two together, I think about her face lighting up because she can go see her boyfriend play a game she doesn't care about. It reminds me thatthose two have something I could never forgive myself for hurting. And I especially know, that as much as I would hate for their relationship to hurt, I'd hate it and myself ten times more if she were to get hurt from my efforts."

Author's Note
So that's it. Not even a chapter, just a scene I wrote because I felt the urge to write it. Feel free to use it, if you want, but I'd appreciate it if you sent me a PM when you did.
